Diagnosis: Murder (1974, TV) (Part 2)

Part 2 of the TV thriller. Its starts with a woman stalked on a lonely hilltop with a lone sniper shooting at her. The next day D.I. Lomax, already in a complicated relationship with a married woman with a crippled husband in hospital, receives an anonymous letter claiming that psychiatrist Dr Stephen Hayward has murdered his wife. Certainly Hayward is a little creepy, but does this make him a killer? Without a body it's hard to prove otherwise, but someone is determined to paint him a killer as the anonymous letters continue. Just what is going on? As it turns out, something far more complex and sinister...
