00:11 - Yeah, when we put it like that,
00:12 it feels really overwhelming.
00:14 - Are you competitive in everything you do?
00:17 - I think I'm pretty competitive in everything I do.
00:19 We've always been a fairly competitive family.

00:22 - You don't meet someone every day
00:24 that's been competing for as long as she has
00:26 and winning as much as she has.

00:33 - And what keeps you so motivated?
00:39 Is it the races that keep you going
00:41 or do you not mind the training?
00:43 - I absolutely love the training.
00:44 I'm very process driven.
00:46 Every time you get on a bike for a training session
00:48 or for a race, there's an opportunity to improve yourself.
00:50 - I think with Sarah, she's the type of person
00:52 where you explain how you would do it.
00:54 But obviously she has to be able to do that with one hand.
00:59 - I was born without a left hand or a functioning left hand.
01:02 I've got a little bit of a wrist
01:03 and I've got some of the carpal bones,
01:05 but they're mainly fused now.
01:07 I've got a little bit of a thumb joint,
01:08 but nothing that gives me any grip on the bars.
01:11 I've never really considered myself to have a disability.
01:13 I've never not been able to do something.
01:15 - What was the move into able-bodied competition like?
01:18 - So for me, they've just both gone hand in hand
01:20 across my whole career.
01:22 - You had countless success on the road as well.
