00:00 Right in the heart of the United States, you'll find Boulder, Colorado, a cycling mecca.
00:06 It's like the coolest, wildest place I've ever found.
00:14 Hell of a place to ride a bike.
00:16 Athletes all moved to Boulder because we wanted to be around the sport, and Boulder is iconic for that.
00:28 I'm Ruth Edwards, an expo roadie and now a gravel rider.
00:31 I'm going to get the chance to take you around to some of my favorite roads here in Boulder,
00:36 show you the rides that I love and why I fell in love with this place.
00:39 People still ask me, "Do you get tired of seeing the mountains?" and I always say, "No."
00:44 Like, you can basically go anywhere.
00:46 Some of Boulder's most talented riders have agreed to come along and share why they love the city just as much as I do.
00:52 Alex Howes.
00:54 The nice thing with the mountains is it's pretty dang expansive. As soon as you exhaust all the roads, then you hit the trails, you know?
01:00 Connie Carpenter.
01:01 It is a beautiful place to live and I miss the mountains when I'm away.
01:05 And Dr. Alan Lim.
01:06 This climb is steep, it's dynamic, it's got these twists and turns.
01:15 Oh, there's a deer chasing us. Oh, there it goes.
01:20 So, you know, there's always a spirit animal for every training camp.
01:24 This is going to be my first time on Boulder Res. I'm kind of excited to see a little bit more of Yotewill.
01:30 We're here to join the Cruiser Night Ride. I've never been here before because I'm too pro to attend.
01:41 I'm excited to see what this is all about.
