00:00 >> Welcome back to "Access
00:01 daily."
00:01 Our next guest is an Emmy award
00:03 winning actress who has gone
00:04 from medicine woman to amateur
00:06 detective.
00:06 >> Yes, please welcome the
00:08 legend Jane Seymour, everybody.
00:10 >> Oh!
00:11 >> Jane Seymour.
00:12 >> Jane, we were just talking
00:14 about "Dancing with the stars"
00:15 for you with Julianne Hough.
00:16 So what season were you?
00:17 >> I was on the fifth season.
00:18 >> And who was your dance
00:19 partner?
00:20 >> Tony Juvilani.
00:21 >> How did you do?
00:22 >> I came in in the last five.
00:23 >> Wow.
00:24 >> I know.
00:25 >> Pretty good.
00:26 >> There's nothing, Jane.
00:27 >> Julianne, I could have fixed
00:28 that for you if you would want
00:29 to.
00:30 >> I think my foot came off the
00:32 ground for like half a
00:33 centimeter and I got --
00:34 >> That's ridiculous.
00:35 >> Really?
00:36 >> Yeah.
00:37 It was international news,
00:38 actually.
00:39 >> Are you serious?
00:40 The lift, the lift will get you.
00:42 >> The famous lift.
00:43 >> We just had the holidays.
00:44 How was your Thanksgiving?
00:45 I know you have that big,
00:46 beautiful family.
00:47 >> Well, everybody came.
00:49 Everybody and everybody's exes
00:51 and their family.
00:52 >> Hey.
00:53 >> And then my boyfriend and
00:55 then his family and all of their
00:57 friends.
00:58 At one point I think there were
00:59 about 51 of them.
01:00 >> What?
01:01 >> Yes.
01:02 I tried to take the family
01:03 picture but it was impossible.
01:04 I couldn't say, you belong in
01:05 this family, you belong in that
01:06 family.
01:07 So we never got the family
01:08 picture.
01:09 >> I like that you let exes in.
01:11 I think that's cool.
01:12 Once you're in the family,
01:13 you're in?
01:14 >> Oh, you are so in.
01:15 Yes.
01:16 >> Did they have to sign a waiver
01:17 or something?
01:18 >> No.
01:19 You have to have, you know,
01:21 raised, made children.
01:22 That's sort of the thing.
01:24 >> How long have you been with
01:25 the boyfriend?
01:26 >> About three and a half
01:28 months.
01:29 >> All right.
01:30 >> This is big for the holidays,
01:31 Jane.
01:32 That's a lot of pressure.
01:33 >> Did you meet on an app?
01:34 >> No.
01:35 >> Was it tinder?
01:36 >> That's the problem.
01:37 They asked him on a red carpet
01:39 if we met on an app and he said
01:41 no, our kids put us together,
01:43 which is the truth.
01:44 But that became international
01:45 news.
01:46 >> That your kids put you
01:47 together?
01:48 >> Yes.
01:49 >> I love that.
01:50 >> It is lovely, isn't it?
01:51 >> I just like that everything
01:52 becomes international news.
01:53 >> For some reason.
01:54 >> Is this as big of a deal as
01:55 it sounds?
01:56 >> It's a big deal.
01:57 >> It's like a big deal.
01:58 We ran out of news.
01:59 I don't know.
02:00 >> No, it is.
02:01 I just think you've been loved
02:02 for so long.
02:03 Every time you're here, we try
02:04 to find something new to talk
02:05 about.
02:06 Tell us about the time you were
02:07 Freddie Mercury's bride.
02:08 >> Oh, yes, I was.
02:09 I was.
02:10 It was amazing.
02:11 So I knew the designers, David
02:13 and Elizabeth Emanuel, because
02:14 I'd worn one of their first
02:16 frocks being presented to the
02:17 queen of England for a movie
02:19 that I starred in a long time
02:21 ago.
02:22 And at the time, the joke in
02:23 the family was the queen said,
02:24 "Find the frock."
02:25 And went to Charles and said,
02:26 "Find the bride."
02:27 So anyway, I became the muse,
02:29 sort of, of the Emanuels.
02:30 I used to wear all their clothes.
02:32 And they said, "Would I be the
02:34 bride of this live-aid fashion
02:35 thing?"
02:36 I know.
02:37 There I am with Freddie Mercury
02:38 and boy, George.
02:39 I know.
02:40 It was amazing.
02:41 And then Freddie Mercury was
02:42 running down the aisle, and I
02:43 had to run after him, this huge
02:45 dress, and then he kissed me.
02:47 And that was it.
02:48 >> This is good stuff.
02:49 >> Then my kids thought that I
02:50 actually was, you know,
02:51 important.
02:52 >> Yeah, then you'd made it.
02:53 >> I have made it, yes.
02:54 Freddie Mercury, yeah.
02:55 >> By the way, those pictures
02:56 were from fashion aid, which is
02:57 for the relief in famine and
02:58 hunger in Africa.
02:59 >> Thank you, yes.
03:00 >> Those pictures were
03:01 unbelievable.
03:02 She always surprises us, Joel.
03:03 Every time she's here, there's
03:04 something right.
03:05 >> Yeah, I have a very similar
03:06 story about the queen and Freddie
03:08 Mercury.
03:09 We all have this story.
03:10 >> That's Freddie Mercury.
03:12 This is unbelievable.
03:13 >> Look at that.
03:14 A horn section.
03:15 >> Oh, that's the kiss.
03:16 >> Oh, my goodness.
03:17 >> There it is.
03:18 >> Yes.
03:19 >> He held on a little long
03:20 there, too.
03:21 >> He held on plenty tight,
03:22 but he held on still.
03:23 Looks great.
03:24 >> Look at that hair.
03:25 We all had that frizzed out
03:26 hair.
03:27 >> I like the gown, Jane, that
03:28 you're wearing right now.
03:29 >> The gown was amazing.
03:30 I do actually own a whole load of
03:32 manual gowns I still have in my
03:33 closet.
03:34 >> You save everything really
03:35 good, don't you?
03:36 Do I remember this?
03:37 >> Yes, it's the word hoarder
03:38 come to mind.
03:39 >> But it's really nice stuff.
03:41 >> I wear them again.
03:42 I do.
03:43 >> Are you wearing that now?
03:44 >> No, no, no.
03:45 This is new, I think.
