There were already plenty of guns to choose from but with a second game's worth of options added into the mix there's now much to consider. A lot of options can be subjective, because if a gun works for you, then who cares what other people think. However there's a reason why all the best players tend to turn up with the same weapons, and coming up we'll filter out some top-tier choices for every play style and situation.

00:26 The Fara 83 arrived in Verdansk as part of Cold War Season 2 and quickly started to win
00:31 people over.
00:32 It packs the highest damage of the assault rifle class, and while its speed, accuracy
00:36 and ammo aren't at the top, it's a solid option before you even add any attachments,
00:40 thanks to its controllable recoil and a significant punch.
00:44 Because it covers both medium and long ranges well, attachments like the SUSAT multi-zoom
00:48 optic are essential, while speed tape on the handle to boost aim down sight speed and a
00:52 tactical stop to increase your aim movement speed give you another advantage.
00:57 The M16 is a great option because it's powerful and the burst fire makes it incredibly accurate

01:03 So, while you might have to keep pulling the trigger to keep that fire up, you only need
01:06 to land two hits to down most enemies, and those three round bursts keep that accuracy

01:36 Even if you don't fully down or eliminate your opponent, the weapon deals high enough
01:40 damage that it will stop anyone in their tracks, freeing you up to restock on plates, reload
01:44 or letting you get to cover.
01:47 Serving as a superb companion weapon to any sniper or long range option, the MAK-10 is
01:51 an SMG that packs a serious punch.
01:54 Even after getting severely nerfed shortly after it arrived, the MAK-10 is still a force
01:58 to be reckoned with, thanks to its extremely high rate of fire.

02:04 You won't win any fights from a distance though, as that fire rate makes for some crazy

02:09 But slap on a silencer and a 53 round mag and you will be unstoppable up close.

02:39 The main thing to keep in mind is that this weapon works well at medium to long range,

02:46 The CR 56 AMAX is one of the best well-rounded weapons in all of Warzone.
02:50 It features high headshot damage, more than a lot of other assault rifles, and excels
02:54 at medium to long range firefights that usually fill the average match.
02:58 It might feel slow to use, but its accuracy and damage output make up for that.
