00:00 one big omission. Nick Kyrgios unfortunately again pulling out. What did you make of the
00:03 news that he's missing for a second year in a row?
00:05 Well I guess I wasn't so surprised. I think a lot of people maybe half expected it. I
00:11 know he was in a splint fairly recently with his wrist issue so you're starting to think
00:16 it's just getting too close. You need a volume of training, you need to get some matches
00:21 under your belt so hopefully he's back on the court sooner than later and yeah it's
00:26 a shame.
00:27 You have to walk out and play Grand Slam tennis when you haven't done any prep by playing
00:31 lead in events and if he's not ready to play those he's only going to hurt himself by coming
00:35 out so disappointing and it'll be interesting to see what unfolds over the next six months
00:41 to see whether he gets back out on court. Seems quite interested in working in media
00:47 and different spaces and we'll see whether he gets back because he's still got too much
00:52 to give on the court to think about what he's going to do as a second career.
00:56 And in true Nick Kyrgios fashion he's announced it via a unique platform. What did you make
01:00 of that?
01:01 Yeah well look I don't know a lot about that platform to be honest. It's a novel approach
01:07 for an athlete but we'll see how it unfolds.
01:10 It wasn't the platform that I would probably use, put it that way, but that's Nick. He
01:15 always does it differently and that's how he goes about it.
