00:00 Welcome to Drivespark, I'm Vedant Johari and we are in Wagata, Goa for the Royal Enfield
00:12 Motoverse 2023.
00:14 So what is Royal Enfield's Motoverse?
00:16 Well, they have a host of events, showcasing custom made bikes by various garages all over
00:23 India, music concerts, food stalls, all sorts of things and they also launched the price
00:30 of the brand new Himalayan, the Himalayan 450 and they also unveiled a new bike of theirs
00:37 which was showcased at the EICMA last year, the Shotguns 650.
00:47 So apart from all that, there was a lot of dirt racing happening for the media and for
00:53 customers, there were a lot of brands showcasing their products, mainly the brands related
00:59 to the automobile industry and Royal Enfield also had their own stall, the Royal Enfield
01:05 Genuine Parts and they were giving 40% off to most of the customers over there and all
01:11 of this was just to bring the community together to make everyone feel at home, outside of
01:17 home.
01:18 When I was at Motoverse, today is the final day of Motoverse and it was honestly an experience,
01:27 I have never been for Motoverse which was previously known as Rider Mania and this is
01:33 my first time there and I was shocked, it was nothing what I expected it to be, it was
01:39 massive, they had two separate grounds, one where the main music was happening and the
01:45 dirt racing happening and the other ground was where they launched the Himalayan, the
01:50 Shotgun, where they displayed all the various food stalls.
01:55 Apart from the food stalls on that ground, they had a lot of shops as I mentioned earlier
01:59 and they also had a media enclosure for if you get too tired as the Goa climate during
02:05 day gets really, really, really hot.
02:10 So apart from the media enclosure, there was also a place for the public to go and sit
02:15 if they also got too drained and just wanted a break from the hot sun.
02:20 Now at the Motoverse 2023, there were also a huge amount of influencers and creators
02:28 over there and as you watch the video, you'll see us interact with a few of them, get their
02:33 experience of how it was like and what not.
02:37 The Shotgun 650 which was unveiled at Motoverse 2023, a motorcycle which is going to come
02:45 into production and the colour scheme that they launched, the Motoverse edition is only
02:50 available for 25 customers and it's not just any random 25 customers.
02:55 So to avail the Shotgun 650, people attending Motoverse 2023 would have to enter a lucky
03:02 draw, a raffle.
03:04 After being a part of the raffle, only the top 25 lucky customers will get a chance of
03:10 purchasing the motorcycle.
03:12 Coming to the Himalayan 450, at Motoverse 2023, as I mentioned earlier, they launched
03:17 the bike here and also did a price unveil.
03:20 Other than the Shotgun 650, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 was also launched at Motoverse
03:26 and we also saw the price of it finally.
03:29 So what's the starting price of this?
03:31 Well, up until December 31st, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 can be availed at Rs 2.69 lakhs
03:40 ex-showroom.
03:41 The top end variant of this goes all the way up to Rs 2.84 lakhs ex-showroom but that is
03:47 still a very reasonable price for the bike as it is one of the most capable bikes I've
03:53 seen and ridden of Royal Enfields.
03:56 Apart from all of this, at Motoverse 2023, we got a chance to listen to a lot of people
04:02 talking about their experience, right from the Isle of Man TT to people, to photographers
04:09 at MotoGP Bharat and a lot of other things.
04:13 So now I've given you a sort of brief of Motoverse and let's go and interact with some of the
04:19 people there and see how they feel about the event.
04:22 Hi, my name is Mukul, I run Autolog and these are two of our builds that we brought to Ritamania.
04:32 Honestly, they're absolutely beautiful.
04:34 Thank you very much.
04:35 So what inspired you to build these motorcycles?
04:39 So at Autolog we do kits, bolt-on kits.
04:42 So with the Super Meteor, some of the obvious things that we tried to do was make it more
04:47 like what people do in the US with their Harleys and stuff because it is a cruiser.
04:54 So we tried to add to the cruiser vibe.
04:56 So this kit is called TUF 650.
04:59 I mean we have different ranges, it's called TUF 350 for the Meteor 350 and the 650 for
05:04 the 650.
05:05 So we've tried to keep the design the same so that production-wise it's simpler for us
05:10 and the same fairing fits on five models.
05:13 So that's what we tried to do.
05:16 So the Hunter is actually something that I noticed online when Royal Enfield launched
05:21 it at various big shows.
05:24 So that's how I got to know about these guys, Hedgehog.
05:27 This is Frederic from Hedgehog Motorcycles from France.
05:31 Nice meeting you too.
05:32 If you could introduce yourself.
05:33 Yeah, I'm a custom builder from France and we have done a lot of projects for Royal Enfield
05:39 in this year, the last year I'm sorry.
05:42 We have done the official custom project on the Hunter, like a pink one maybe you have
05:49 seen it on Instagram.
05:50 Yes.
05:51 We are specialists in CNC parts and guys are catching tools, parts, you know, bending parts.
05:58 And so we are so happy to be there to introduce our collaboration in the Indian market and
06:06 yeah, it's fun.
06:09 So we're going to be working closely on other projects as well.
06:12 So this is the first one that we're actually doing.
06:14 So we've been lucky to work closely with Royal Enfield for the slide school that they run
06:19 across the globe.
06:20 So in India, they have two schools, one is at Big Rock and one is at our Autolog Ranch.
06:26 So we've had one season, we're just getting into season two.
06:29 So we had a great season one, we had like 300 riders.
06:32 So it was much more than what we expected.
06:35 So we're hoping that it's going to be even more because flat track is a very grassroots
06:40 level of sport, like racing.
06:42 So it's accessible, you don't need too much space, you don't need a complicated motorcycle.
06:46 So I think it's great.
06:53 I'm Anand from Autolog Design.
06:54 I look at sales in Autolog.
06:56 Okay.
06:57 And yeah, so we are a bolt on body kits manufacturer.
07:03 The first ever bolt on body kit manufacturer.
07:06 And we have products for like a range of bikes, like which are best selling like, for example,
07:12 Royal Enfield, KTM, which you see on the market, which bikers are enthusiastic to get.
07:20 So from modifying bikes, what made you guys switch to the flat tracking and like trying
07:24 to build a community here?
07:25 Yeah, so like you said, it's a community.
07:26 So we see Autolog as a lifestyle brand, where you not only experience our custom body kits,
07:34 but also you can visit our workshop, you can take a tour, you can see how we do.
07:41 Like I said, lifestyle, you can visit us.
07:43 We have a place called Autolog Ranch, where we have four different tracks.
07:48 And that's located in Pune, right?
07:50 That's located in Pune, near our workshop.
07:53 So one is Royal Enfield slide school, which we are talking about the flat track.
07:58 So like this is the Himalayan, flat track Himalayan.
08:02 Even this kit is manufactured by us.
08:05 And bike is done by us.
08:07 Nice.
08:08 Yeah.
08:09 My name is Marcel.
08:10 Marcel, you?
08:11 Abhrak.
08:12 Abhrak.

08:28 It's a really good experience to come here and see all the different types of bikes.

08:30 It's a really good experience to come here and see all the different types of bikes.
08:31 Yeah.
08:32 It's a really good experience to come here and see all the different types of bikes.
08:33 Yeah.
08:34 It's a really good experience to come here and see all the different types of bikes.
08:35 Yeah.
08:36 It's a really good experience to come here and see all the different types of bikes.
08:37 Yeah.
08:38 It's a really good experience to come here and see all the different types of bikes.
08:47 Yeah.
08:48 So what bikes are you guys into?
08:49 Are you more into the cruiser type of bikes or the sports bikes or scramblers?
08:54 Which ones do you like?
08:55 Sport bikes.
08:56 Sport bikes.
08:57 Sport bikes.
08:58 Yeah, sport.
08:59 I like sport bikes and dirt bikes.
09:00 Nice.

09:02 Yeah.
09:03 Next year, yeah?
09:04 Yeah.
09:05 And what are you guys going to do?
09:06 We're going to do a little bit of a tour.
09:07 Yeah.
09:08 How would you like to see it different over here?
09:09 Like, would you like it for some activities for you guys specifically?
09:10 Like for...
09:11 I would say more games because I feel like for the younger people, it's always fun to
09:12 have different variety of games.
09:13 And there are games, but we would like like bull riding and fun things like that.
09:14 Yeah.
09:15 And for you?
09:16 I would like that they bring mini bikes for us.
09:17 Oh, yeah.
09:18 That would be fun.
09:19 So we can drive around and stuff.
09:20 Yeah.
09:21 What do you guys think of Goa?
09:22 It's very nice, but it's a bit polluted.
09:23 Like throughout the years, it's been polluted.
