00:00 I understand just how technical it is and it doesn't help when you are in a community
00:06 at the forefront of all of this, seeing the impacts, worrying about what those impacts
00:12 will have on your day-to-day life, on getting to and from work, perhaps on a business you
00:18 run. It doesn't help if the language we use is very, very technical and we strive not
00:24 to do that. The problem is this is a very, very complicated subject. So what I would
00:29 say to our residents is that we are absolutely trying to make sure that all of these developers,
00:34 all of the people bringing forward these big schemes, work together as much as possible
00:40 so that their efforts, so that their projects are coordinated to lessen the impact on communities,
00:47 but also that we want to see as much of that transmission done offshore to again remove
00:53 the impact from those communities. So absolutely, Jo, you are right to say it is very, very
00:57 technical. It is a really complex subject as you heard in the Chamber today, but that
01:02 complexity should never hide the very real impacts that we see here in Suffolk and it
01:08 is our role as a county council to stand up for those communities and we will continue
01:11 to do that.
