00:00 >> Is it why?
00:02 >> Yeah.
00:02 >> Mainly because this one in the year I want a good note.
00:05 You know, the season's really long and a lot of people think, you know,
00:09 the off season is hard on a lot of people.
00:11 Camp going through all that and you obviously go through the season so
00:15 you rock with these guys for so long.
00:17 And so I just want to know this group will never be the 2020 Buckeyes and
00:22 never be the same after this year.
00:24 So I just want to rock with these guys I've been with for this period of time.
00:29 You know, it's the brotherhood for a reason.
00:31 And I heard the Bulls in a really cool state.
00:33 So I just want to play in front of family and friends.
00:39 So it's gonna be a fun game.
00:40 >> Yeah, how many people do you think will be there for you?
00:42 >> Man. >> We talked between now and then.
00:44 >> The number keeps coming up, number keeps going up.
00:47 It was 12 and then I got told, well, how about you get three more tickets?
00:51 >> Yeah. >> And I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get
00:52 another phone call saying, how about you get a couple more tickets?
00:54 So we'll see what the final total is.
00:56 But I'm just excited.
00:59 It's a great bowl game.
01:01 It's a great opportunity to end the year on the right note,
01:03 coming against a fantastic opponent.
01:05 So it's gonna be a great game.
01:08 >> So if you ask me- >> What's your enduring memory from that
01:09 Michigan game?
01:10 What's your enduring memory at this point from the way that all went down on
01:16 that last draft?
01:18 >> We just didn't execute.
01:20 It's pretty easy to point fingers at a lot of people at the end of the game.
01:23 There's 11 guys on that field and all of us just didn't execute.
01:27 No, personally for me, I did not play well on that last drive, personally.
01:31 So- >> You didn't anticipate tripping.
01:34 I think, didn't you trip over Carson's foot?
01:37 I mean, how do you play that in your head?
01:40 You understand what I'm saying?
01:42 >> I play it in my head, yeah.
01:45 Yeah, I replayed that moment for a very long time, a couple times.
01:51 I had to get pulled out of my room by my roommate, and he was like,
01:55 come on, man, you just gotta get out of your room, you gotta do something.
01:57 You gotta at least look at the sun for a while.
02:00 But yeah, all you can do is learn from it, move on from it, and
02:05 try to grow from it.
02:06 I think that was our message coming in as a unit, and
02:10 as Coach Day said, it's like nobody's gonna feel sorry for you.
02:14 It's college football, you don't wait for nobody.
02:16 It's not gonna be like, come on, let's wait for them to feel good again about
02:19 themselves, no, it's gonna keep on moving.
02:22 And so we have a great opportunity to go out there one more time and
02:26 just play Ohio State football.
02:28 >> How frustrating is that?
02:29 You guys, as an offensive line group, the steps you made from week one to week 12
02:33 were pretty big as a group.
02:35 And to have it all come down to what a lot of people will remember as one play
02:39 on the season, does that frustrate you as a unit?
02:42 How does that, how do you do something, the big picture from that step?
02:48 >> I think that's just reality of college football.
02:50 A lot of people don't remember how you started, they remember how you finished.
02:55 And so it's unfortunate it happened that way, but
02:58 as a unit we just gotta grow from it and keep pushing forward.
03:01 I'm really proud of the whole line, how we progressed every week.
03:06 I felt like we got better every week in terms of running the ball and
03:09 in terms of putting hats on hats.
03:12 And it sucks that it happened the way it did, but we just gotta watch the film on
03:17 grow from it and keep going from there.
