Burke said he has wanted to beat the Wolverines since his first year, and not being able to do that this season is determining his decision for next season "a little bit."

00:00 you are making a decision, you said you're 50-50.
00:03 How much does the end of the season, the Michigan loss, factor into that,
00:07 do you think?
00:09 >> I guess you could say it factors in a little bit.
00:12 I'm still waiting for after this ball game too, just to see where I stand.
00:16 And once everything is said and done, then I will know for sure what I'm gonna do.
00:21 >> Have you gotten the feedback back from the NFL?
00:23 >> Yeah, I've gotten a lot of feedback, a lot of good.
00:27 But at the same time, I just wanted to be team on North,
00:33 have a big team championship, compete for 90, that's the plan.
00:38 >> Before the season, you talked about a pro approach that you kind of adopted.
00:42 Is that more important now than ever when you don't really know what's next?
00:45 >> Yeah, it really is, at least for me,
00:48 cuz you never know when someone's watching you.
00:51 So you gotta move accordingly, and that's what I've been trying to do.
00:56 I continue to develop into the pro I already am, and just mature.
01:00 >> What does that look like in these weeks leading up to the ball game?
01:04 >> Really just being intentional on my time off, and
01:07 continue to stay on the ball, watch the film.
01:10 Don't get complacent, really, as you said.
01:14 And finish this game strong, and then we can relax.
01:18 >> Two more questions.
01:19 >> Obviously, these practices are to prepare for the ball game, but
01:22 it's also to get some of those young guys repped.
01:24 How much responsibility, I mean, you're a veteran,
01:26 are you gonna try to get those guys ready when you come back?
01:29 >> It's a big responsibility for me.
01:31 My job as a corner, as a leader, as a captain, is to push the young guys,
01:35 especially on the offense, give them hell in practice.
01:38 And teach them what they can work on, and
01:41 let them know that what you see in practice is gonna be way quicker in the game.
01:45 >> How have you seen Devin kinda assert himself, obviously with Kyle leaving?
01:50 >> Yeah, first day, first practice, he had a day.
01:53 And he's continuing to grow every single day.
01:56 And the sky's the limit for him, and
01:59 I'm excited to see what he does come 29th of December.
02:02 >> From a cornerback perspective, what makes him dangerous as a cornerback?
02:07 >> His arm, he can throw that ball.
02:09 It's pretty accurate.
02:11 He can scramble, he can extend plays.
02:14 And he's tough, he got some grit to him.
02:17 And he's bringing that leader, that vocalness that we need for the team.
02:21 >> When you said, was it immediately, as soon as you guys found out the news that
02:24 Kyle McCourt was leaving, that Devin kinda started to assert himself more in that
02:29 position?
02:29 >> Definitely.
