00:00 If you wanted to make me uneasy, tense and stressed
00:02 for over two hours, mission accomplished.
00:05 - Well done us.
00:06 - Oh my goodness.
00:07 And I watched it by myself
00:08 and I'm not good with these things
00:09 because I'm such an overthinker.
00:11 What would you say is the perfect way
00:14 to watch a film like this, which is very stressful?
00:18 - Well, I would say, I mean,
00:19 right now it's in theaters in America.
00:22 So I think because of the visuals and the sound,
00:26 I think to be in a theater in the dark with people
00:29 and then go to dinner so that you can debrief, decompress.
00:34 - It just stays with you.
00:37 At least you with a lot, a lot of questions.
00:39 Was it hard for the two of you to stay so serious
00:43 and angry, I think for the whole thing,
00:46 because you two don't strike me
00:48 as being like that in general.
00:50 And there was a particular scene
00:52 where you're having a go at each other.
00:54 Whereas like, if that was me,
00:55 I would not keep a straight face through that.
00:57 - I think when we were occupying those spaces,
01:00 we were both fully in them.
01:02 But I think that it's just an environment
01:07 that you can't wear all day long.
01:10 And so I think all of us, Mahershala, Ethan,
01:13 you just have to put that bag down.
01:17 - In situations like this,
01:19 which I hope we would never have to be in,
01:21 are you more of the panicky type
01:24 or are you more of a problem solving person?
01:27 - I'm a problem solver, I'm a doer.
01:29 - Yeah, I think I'm a little bit of both.
01:32 I think I'm probably panicking on the inside,
01:34 but making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
01:37 on the outside.
01:37 - Yes. - I like that.
01:39 It's like your go-to disaster.
01:41 - It just came to me.
01:42 I guess maybe I'm feeling a little peckish right now.
01:45 - Also, were the dance moves that we seen,
01:49 that you showcased, were they your own
01:51 or choreographed very hilariously?
01:54 - I appreciate you thinking that they were choreographed.
01:58 That makes me feel good inside.
01:59 It was actually, it was a combination of things
02:01 because Sam is so specific with his camera moves.
02:04 And so he wanted Mahershala and I to be sort of
02:08 close together and then further apart.
02:10 And then, you know,
02:11 and I just, there was the one moment
02:15 where Amanda kind of takes her sweater off
02:17 and it's like, okay, now I'm gonna show you
02:21 what I'm really made of.
02:22 You have to be willing to embarrass yourself.
02:27 - I mean, you're dancing to a great track,
02:29 so I feel like you just go with it.
02:31 - That's what I've been told.
02:32 - Yeah.
02:33 So you're not your type of music?
02:35 - Well, you know, it's just,
02:39 it's the Mahershala element to it.
02:43 That's where it all goes a little sideways for me.
02:46 'Cause you just kind of look over at him
02:47 and there he is and he's just so elegant looking
02:50 all the time, isn't he?
02:51 - Yeah, he is.
02:51 - And he's got his big, kind, brown eyes looking at you
02:54 with absolutely no judgment whatsoever.
02:56 And you just think, I am an idiot.
02:59 (laughing)
03:00 - Somehow, I don't think that's possible.
03:03 But great job with the film, ladies.
03:06 Good luck with it when it comes out over here.
03:08 - Thank you. - Thank you so much.
