00:40 - Hi, I'm Jen Kitchen, and this is my plan
00:44 to give Wellingborough a fresh start.
00:46 Me and my team have spoken to thousands of people
00:49 over the last couple of weeks,
00:50 and I've listened to what you've had to say.
00:52 My plan comes from what really matters to you.
00:56 One, I will bang the drum for our town centres.
00:59 I will work closely with traders to support them,
01:02 and then I will fight to bring people
01:03 back to our high streets.
01:05 I've done it before, and I will do it again here.
01:08 Two, I will work to get knives off our streets.
01:11 It's a real shock how often this comes up in conversations.
01:14 People simply do not feel safe, and that has to change.
01:18 Three, I will help fix our local NHS.
01:21 I will work with GPs and others in the health service
01:24 to get the system working again,
01:26 so people can see a GP or a dentist when they need to.
01:30 Four, sort the potholes.
01:31 Motorists pay through the nose to drive,
01:33 and the road should be in a fit state.
01:35 Five, I will put more money back in your pocket.
01:38 The cost of living crisis is the biggest issue people face,
01:41 and I'm backing Labour's plan to offer real support.
01:44 I'm proud to be Labour's candidate
01:52 for Wellingborough, Rushton, and the villages.
01:54 At the next election, the choice is clear.

02:13 I was a former Conservative councillor for 17 years,
02:36 and leader of the Borough Council of Wellingborough.
02:39 But in this election, I'm voting for Jen Kitchen and the Labour
02:43 Party.
02:44 Our former Conservative MP has exploited his position,
02:48 refused to stand down when called out,
02:51 and is costing taxpayers in excess of £100,000.
02:55 We've been let down at every level
02:57 by the North Northamptonshire Unitary Council, by our MP,
03:01 and by the government.
03:02 Wellingborough needs an honest MP,
03:05 someone with integrity that puts residents first.
03:09 That's why I'm voting for Jen.
03:11 She's hardworking, has great ideas,
03:13 and really listens to what people need.
03:15 She has a plan for our town to improve our high streets
03:19 and roads, to get knives off our streets, to help fix the NHS,
03:23 and to support people through this cost of living crisis.
03:26 We need a fresh start, and Jen Kitchen is the only person
03:29 that can deliver that.
