AFC Playoffs: Ravens Lead, Dolphins Miss Crucial Chance

00:03 We start by looking at the AFC playoff picture.
00:06 When you take a look, unlike the NFC that has three teams with ten wins,
00:10 only the Baltimore Ravens have reached double digits so far this year.
00:15 The Dolphins had the opportunity, squandered it on Monday night in South Florida.
00:20 The Chiefs and the Jags have both dropped two in a row,
00:23 but remain at eight and five in first place in their respective divisions,
00:27 the AFC West and South.
00:30 And then that wild card race is exactly that.
00:33 The Browns have a leg up by a game at eight and five.
00:36 Then there are six teams with a seven and six overall record
00:40 entering the final month of this regular season.
00:43 Blue, as the best as you can, try to make sense of it for us.
00:48 I wish I could because I think we've seen over the last couple of weeks,
00:53 and I've been on here talking about how there was a moment during the pre--
00:57 there was a long while during the preseason, in fact,
00:59 not just one moment where we talked about how strong the AFC was at the top.
01:04 And due to injuries and unexpected play from a couple of teams,
01:08 notably the Chiefs, we found ourselves poking holes in the teams
01:12 at the top of the conference.
01:15 The Dolphins, what happened the other night,
01:17 that's a huge black mark on their record.
01:20 They blew a game that teams hadn't blown in 787 games
01:24 to give up two touchdowns in the final two minutes and 40 seconds.
01:28 It was a disaster.
01:30 And now they're going up against a team in the Jets that they blew out
01:34 a couple of weeks ago.
01:35 We're expecting to have weather there, but that total, guys, I'll say this,
01:39 that total of 37.5, the Dolphins almost got there by themselves last time.
01:44 So this is completely impacted by what we're expecting to be
01:49 a lot of bad weather.
01:51 I'm not going down that route.
01:53 I think there will be points in this one.
01:55 I think the Dolphins get back on track.
01:57 What I like about the makeup of the Niners and the Dolphins in particular
02:01 because they mirror each other in a lot of ways is that I think that kind of game,
02:06 that kind of offense, I don't think it stays in a lower gear for too often.
02:12 I think it's very difficult to stop, and I think they'll get back on track.
02:15 We'll see what Tyreek looks like if Tyreek can ring the bell on Sunday.
02:20 Ben, but to answer your question, to round it all out,
02:23 I do still think we're poking a lot of holes in these teams,
02:26 and it's why a team like the Bills, with a record that doesn't look that great,
02:30 is still getting a lot of respect.
02:32 I think we're finding that there's only a few teams that we really like to go far
02:36 and potentially win a Super Bowl.
02:39 It could get pretty jammed up when it comes to January, February,
02:42 but there's not a lot of teams we have a lot of confidence in to get all that far.
