The Florida coast is expected to get slammed by a system this weekend, but rough seas aren't the only concern at the beaches. Experts are warning against man o' wars washing ashore.

00:00 and the rough seas have already sent some dangerous jellyfish onto the shore.
00:04 Some areas there, even some stores, have already closed as the weather bears down.
00:08 Fox 35's Esther Bauer is live in Brevard County today. So Esther, people should
00:12 not even go near the water this weekend, they're saying. Officials are asking
00:18 everyone to stay out of the ocean because these conditions are far too
00:21 dangerous. If you take a look behind me, this is what we want to see. There is no
00:25 one surfing, there is no one swimming, there is no one trying to tackle these
00:29 intense waves. But that is not the only hazard coming from this storm. If you
00:33 take a walk with me over here, as soon as we stepped onto the beach, we had to
00:37 dodge man o' wars. Look at this. There's one right here just over this fence.
00:41 There is a second, a third and a fourth man o' war hiding in this seaweed. So
00:47 people are, if you do come out to the beach, make sure you are watching
00:50 closely because those are here for this, for this storm.
00:55 It's amazing. It's so impressive. Mother Nature in itself. Her force on
01:02 full display at Canaveral National Seashore as people admire the powerful
01:07 surf from afar. This is something you want to see from the seashore. Take
01:11 some pictures. I wouldn't even probably put my feet in the water. Some roads
01:15 are already blocked off at the National Park because of high water and sand. The
01:20 waves are crazy. It's uh, it's pouring over the docks. Uh, it's pretty intense.
01:24 Beach goers watching where they walk so they don't end up stepping on those
01:28 kind of blue looking balloons that you see on the beach. Those tentacles
01:32 coming off of those can sting even when they're out of the water. Man o' wars
01:37 are washing ashore, stuck in the piles of seaweed. But you're not used to
01:40 seeing this come out here. No, no, not in the parking lots out here,
01:44 especially at this time of the year. I mean, obviously hurricanes and the
01:47 surges that we get. But when I was reading the weather report this week, I
01:49 thought, oh my gosh, we definitely have to go for a walk on the beach at some
01:52 point just to see it. County officials are asking people to stay out of the
01:56 water and seven beaches are still staffed with lifeguards.
02:00 And victory casino cruises made the call once again not to sail because of
02:08 high seas. We are seeing the fishing pier at Jetty Park is also closed and
02:14 the city of Melbourne is also closing the boat ramps at Front Street Park
02:18 because these conditions are too dangerous. Reporting live in Melbourne,
02:22 the city of San Francisco. And
