Kansas City Chiefs' Disastrous Offense: Worry for The Team

00:00 The Chiefs offense has been abysmal this season. The total is 37. The team total for the past
00:08 is 13 and a half. The Chiefs haven't held anybody under that total in a month. They're
00:13 actually allowing over 20 points per game. I've been looking at this and this should
00:17 be a bang over here. And the fact that the Kansas City side is where the concern checks
00:21 in speaks volume to where this team is at the moment. But it really should still get
00:26 there. It should, but I'm not going to back it in terms of that regard. I do like New
00:30 England plus the points. I do. You know why? Because, well, you got to go with the hot
00:37 hand, right? Patriots gave us the over in the back in terms of that Thursday night performance.
00:43 But again, I just think from a defensive perspective, in terms of that front seven only giving up
00:48 88 rushing yards per game, if you could shut down the rushing attack in terms of once Isaiah
00:53 Pacheco is out of that offense, they're a different animal, right? That offensive line
00:57 hasn't been running the football consistently. They're on the road. It's Bill Belichick's
01:02 maybe farewell tour. Now the word's out. He's not going to be there. There's four games
01:07 remaining. They get the victory on Thursday night. They don't have to win, Kev. They just
01:11 have to cover this large number. And we know the inconsistency right now in Kansas City.
01:16 A lot of pressure on this team. I think the mindset is, okay, they lost at home the Cadarius
01:21 Tony, you know, controversial call. He was off sides. Everybody knows it. Get it. Get
01:26 over it. But do they push in this ballgame? And if they do push, I want to be on the side
01:32 catching the points. They've played better at home. New England has been in very close
01:36 ballgames. They're going to run it, in my opinion, early on. But I still like Zappy
01:40 over the 188 and a half today. Donnie, I think they potentially can make it a four quarter
01:45 game. I thought they were a dead football team last week going up against the Steelers
01:49 and end up scoring 21 points in that first quarter, or excuse me, in the first half to
01:52 jump out to that lead. Sort of close to a victory. But the one thing we did see also
01:55 is the offense did have a little bit of a different dimension with Bailey Zappy, who
01:59 was risking and saying, you know what, I'll make some of these throws that Mack Jones
02:02 wasn't making earlier in the season. I liked what I saw, but this is a little bit of a
02:05 different animal coming in here with Kansas City. It's a very good defense here, which
02:09 should put the clamps down here on New England. But again, I can't find too many people, honestly,
02:13 all week long, like, you know what, I really like Kansas City. I'll lay close to 10 points
02:17 on the road with them. You can't find that out there. For my money here, I think Zappy's
02:21 going to build off of what we saw last week. The one thing that I just said, Kansas City
02:24 has a good defense here, but in one of those East Coast games today, we're not worried
02:28 about rain. We're not worried about winds. It's good conditions here for scoring and
02:31 it should be conducive. I'm looking to buy cheap in this game. Juju Schmischuster found
02:35 something last week with Bailey Zappy. Saw him during the week also, post-practice interviews.
02:40 Hey, man, kid's got good feet. He's got that good, that basically, I've been a wide receiver.
02:44 You look over the, hey, hey, quick, you look real good out there. It's like, oh yeah, you
02:47 know what, I had a couple catches with him last weekend.
