00:03 - Here's the thing,
00:03 and you notice it and a lot of other people notice it,
00:05 the lack of energy with that football team.
00:08 They're wrong a little bit early on,
00:10 and then it just snowballed, it got behind,
00:12 and boy, Trubisky really struggled,
00:15 and he's a guy who's gotta be in front.
00:17 As we talked about on a Friday show and Thursday with him,
00:21 he's a guy that'll press,
00:22 he doesn't really throw the ball great
00:24 against zone coverage,
00:25 he struggled there against Gus Bradley's defense,
00:28 which has been incredible with the streak
00:30 of turnovers forced,
00:31 but when you look at the situation with the Steelers now,
00:34 yeah, they're still alive for a playoff spot,
00:35 a wild card, of course,
00:37 but when you really look at it,
00:38 go to Mason Rudolph, this should have happened weeks ago.
00:41 Mason Rudolph, he doesn't have Trubisky's armor
00:43 or athleticism, but he's a pure pocket passer.
00:45 He'll throw the ball as it's dialed up,
00:49 as the play is structured, he'll do that.
00:51 He doesn't have Trubisky's arm,
00:53 but he'll do that, he'll get rid of the football.
00:55 And look, your Steelers are actually an underdog at home,
00:58 they're down three safeties,
00:59 Demonte KZ's suspended for the rest of the season
01:02 and play should they make it,
01:04 Keanu O'Neill's still out, he's on the inter-reserve,
01:05 and Mick Fitzpatrick won't play with the knee injury,
01:08 so they're down three safeties for real.
01:10 They're changing the quarterback,
01:11 they're going to the third string quarterback,
01:13 they're in trouble, it's just the way it is,
01:14 they're not playing well,
01:15 they've not gotten the play that they were expecting
01:17 out of the quarterback position,
01:19 and defensively, they've fallen off here.
01:21 It's less to do about injury,
01:23 it's more that the defense is just not being consistent
01:25 enough, as most people thought.
01:27 It was very good in the first half,
01:28 but the second half here, they've had a collapse.
