00:00 Looking up next in the Premier League, West Ham away. A team that's struggled on the road
00:07 but has been fantastic at home. West Ham have built this new vibe around the team now with
00:15 the likes of Mohamed Kouda proving fantastic, James Ward-Prouser. A lot to prove for them.
00:22 It's something that West Ham will probably look at and think, 'Let's get a win around
00:25 Christmas and go into the festive period looking really positive. What can United expect when
00:31 they travel there?'
00:33 I think they'll expect a difficult game. West Ham are always, and David Moyeside, very well
00:38 drilled and very well organised. They're a bit up and down this season and I think you're
00:44 definitely right that they're better at home. I think they are kind of improving and I think
00:48 that in the last couple of years they've signed quite a few players and are adapting stylistically
00:53 a little bit I think as well. And you're right, they've got some really technical good players,
00:57 Paqueta, Bowen, Kudus as well. So they are kind of... Remember that Moyeside that went
01:07 really far, were up and in around the Champions League race at one point? They're quite different
01:12 from that. It was quite a functional side. So definitely evolved a little bit and I think
01:16 it's taken away from them slightly a little bit. But they are still a good team, they're
01:20 going to cause United issues. They comfortably beat United when the two sides met at the
01:25 London Stadium last season. And yeah, as I say, it's a difficult game. A couple of weeks
01:31 ago there was quite a gap between the clubs in the table. Suddenly I look there and West
01:35 Ham, if they win, would go above United. So yeah, as I say, it's going to be a difficult
01:39 game for United. I think they'll be buoyed by that Liverpool result, if not performance.
01:45 I mean, that was a strange game. I thought United were actually, certainly from an offensive
01:49 point of view, were pretty poor, but managed to come away with a relatively comfortable
01:53 draw from Anfield. Defensively, I think they were better and I think that they have it
01:57 in them to play these games where they're quite defensively strong. They've obviously
02:03 struggled against sides in the top half of the season, I mean, the top half of the table.
02:07 Chelsea are the only side in the top half, I think they've beaten, I mean, they've beaten
02:11 Brentford, I think, back into the bottom half after those results last weekend. So yeah,
02:16 they struggle in those big away games. They've struggled in their ten-hag in those big away
02:19 games. And in my experience, it kind of tends to be one step forward, two back with United.
02:26 So when you, certainly this season anyway, certainly, so when you think about, for instance,
02:29 the result at Anfield last week, it wouldn't surprise me if they go to the London Stadium
02:32 and actually come away with a disappointing result and a disappointing performance to
02:36 give Manchester United fans the Christmas that they don't want. But yeah, I think it'll
02:41 be a really difficult game. I'd be surprised if United go there and win, personally, and
02:45 especially a couple of injuries at the moment. Obviously, Maguire out, which I think is
02:48 a big blow for them and obviously a player who knew how to join West Ham in the summer
02:52 as well. So yeah, I tentatively think I'm going to go for a West Ham win in that one.
