Pittsburgh Steelers' head coach Mike Tomlin compliments Mason Rudolph's preparation and his mentality this season.

00:17 >> Man, he's a professional.

00:19 He's always prepared.

00:22 When given an opportunity, he competes.

00:25 He's extremely supportive of others.

00:29 Whether it's guys in his position or whether it's anybody on the offense.

00:33 And all our quarterbacks are, we got a really good group in that way,

00:37 in terms of communicating, game cohesion, and understanding.

00:40 Having informal conversations in an effort to get on the same page,

00:44 we got a really good group in that regard.

00:45 And he's been a critical component of that.

00:48 >> Mike, only 16 snaps for him in two years.

00:51 Is there a rust factor component there to being knocked off, or

00:54 how do you approach that?

00:56 >> Certainly there is, and I think that that's why,

00:58 when you ask me about his potential availability in recent weeks,

01:02 I've been less apt to say so.

01:04 But again, as I said after the game, we're not gonna sit on our hands and

01:09 hope for a change in terms of some of the things that we need to change.

01:12 We're gonna actively pursue it.
