Keyonte George Reveals Favorite NBA Player Growing Up

Jazz G Keyonte George discussed who his favorite player to watch in the NBA was before entering the league.

00:02 I guess that translates to before you were in the league.

00:05 Is there a favorite player you had growing up?

00:07 - For me it was Westbrook.

00:09 - Oh yeah.

00:09 - Growing up watching him play.

00:11 I mean, just the energy that he has when he plays.

00:14 I mean, in between the lines is, you know,

00:16 his squad versus the other squad.

00:18 I mean, he might have somebody on the team

00:20 that, you know, he may be close with or no,

00:22 but just because of his intensity

00:24 and his competitive nature, can't tell.

00:27 So I mean, yeah, I just try,

00:29 I try to take that into my game, you know.

00:31 Growing up, just trying to be competitive

00:33 each and every game, no matter where I was playing.

00:36 Playing with the same fire, you know,

00:38 playing the same tenacity,

00:40 I mean, on both ends of the floor.

00:42 So, you know, I'm still trying to get better,

00:45 you know, at those things.

00:47 But that's what drew me to him, you know,

00:50 growing up and, you know, watching him play basketball.
