00:03 With the passing that the Washington commanders do and
00:05 the high rate of passing that they do, as well as I think
00:09 Brian Robinson is out for this game.
00:11 I don't think you're going to get a ton of rushing attempts
00:13 from Washington.
00:15 That being said, look, that's a bad and dangerous situation to
00:18 be trying to pass the ball against.
00:20 This New York Jets pass defense is truly great.
00:23 Sam Howell is truly terrible.
00:25 And if you look at some of these Washington statistics in terms
00:28 of who Sam Howell is and what he's been able to do, when I
00:31 look at all the quarterbacks that have thrown at least 400
00:34 pass attempts this season, Sam Howell of the 20 quarterbacks
00:38 that qualify ranks number 18 in virtually every metric.
00:41 The only two quarterbacks that have been worse than him this
00:44 season, Josh Dobbs, the journeyman who's now been benched
00:47 up in Minnesota and obviously got sent from Arizona to
00:53 Minnesota, and then Bryce Young.
00:55 We talked about him before and how much he's struggling.
00:57 So we do not have a lot of track record of success for Sam Howell.
01:02 It's hilarious that Ron Rivera tried to sell this quarterback
01:06 to the Washington fan bases, the guy who's going to save the team
01:10 and make a run to the postseason, potentially before
01:13 the season started.
01:13 That obviously didn't happen.
01:15 Sam Howell's not good.
01:16 Now he's going up against the toughest defense that he's faced.
01:18 Anytime he's stepped up in class against these tough secondaries,
01:21 he has not had a lot of success.
01:23 So you might need to get some short fields here, but you're
01:25 certainly going to get a lot of passing out of Washington.
01:27 I just don't know how successful it's going to be.
01:29 (upbeat music)
01:32 (bells chiming)
