00:00 To say that I love and adore John Larroquette feels like the understatement of the year.

00:06 When we were originally developing this show, I had no intention of starring in it.

00:10 I was just going to come on board as an executive producer, and that was my plan,

00:14 that I was going to stay behind the camera on this one.

00:16 But in working with John, we became really close, and we had a lot of phone conversations

00:23 and a lot of Zooms and a lot of emails back and forth.

00:26 And as the script came together for the pilot and these characters were developed,

00:31 I just kept on thinking to myself, "Ugh, I'm going to be such a dummy if I don't play this role,

00:38 and I'm going to be kicking myself for years to come that I didn't get to work opposite him."

00:44 And I'm so grateful that I'm not kicking myself,

00:47 and that I get to have the opportunity to work across from John and to learn from him.
