00:00 Can you say who you are? Yes certainly, so I'm station manager Darren Salboni from
00:04 Shopper Fire and Rescue Service. And what's been happening today at
00:07 Harmer Hill? Unfortunately this morning we've had a
00:10 significant fire in an empty property, an empty pub and we've responded with
00:16 six fire engines and officers and colleagues from the police and the
00:19 ambulance service and we've been supported by the
00:22 electricity board as well today. Everyone's accounted for, nobody was in
00:26 the building I take it? No I'm happy to say no injuries,
00:29 everybody's accounted for at this time, we're still carrying out investigations
00:33 though. And do you expect to get the road open
00:37 later on this afternoon on Christmas day? Yes we'll have
00:42 crews on scene for the majority of the day but hopefully we'll be able to get
00:44 the road open within the next couple of hours.
00:46 Fantastic and you got the beep as well didn't you when you were opening
00:50 Christmas presents? I did yes I was at home with the
00:53 children this morning opening presents getting ready for dinner and
00:56 after they came to the system, left them to it.
00:59 And thank you very much for being here. Thank you.
