00:04 several of my colleagues lose their lives. So it is difficult to take it in
00:11 your stride but it is a fundamental part of our democracy that members of
00:14 Parliament are accessible to our constituents and I wouldn't want that to
00:17 change. Unfortunately that goes with risks these days. I personally, like some
00:22 of my other colleagues, wear stab vests if I do public events and sadly that is
00:27 par for the course these days and it shouldn't be but the accessibility of
00:30 members of Parliament is a fundamental part of our British democratic tradition
00:34 and I wouldn't want to see that taken away.
