00:00 So what has been your reaction to hearing the news of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's investment in the club?
00:05 I'm hopeful that he's going to change a few things.
00:09 Hopefully turn things around a little, because we definitely need it.
00:18 I mean, with it only being a 25% stake, do you think there'll be much change?
00:24 I don't know, I'm a bit unsure. Hopefully, I would want full tech over, but I'm not too sure.
00:31 Like I say, I'm feeling hopeful about it. Maybe he can bring something new, some changes, that will hopefully be positive.
00:40 So is this what the club have been waiting for?
00:44 I don't know. I do think that we need glazes at, but maybe this is a step in the right direction. So, we'll have to wait and see.
00:56 Do you think this will start a new era for the club, and 2024 might be a better year for the club?
01:05 It's hard to say that one, mate, but I do hope. It is one thing I hope for.
01:11 So, what have you made to the news of Sir Jim Ratcliffe investing in the club?
01:16 I think it's a great direction for the club, and that we can build on that, and maybe get back to our glory days,
01:22 and get down the noisy neighbours, and show them who's the proper team in Manchester, I would say.
01:31 With it only being a 25% investment, do you think that's enough to make a significant change?
01:37 I think so, yes, because he can invest more money into the club, and then he can buy more of the club,
01:44 and get more to say in the club, and get in the right direction, and build up from the ground again, and make it back to the glory days.
01:56 So, you think this is potentially a new era for the club, going into next year?
02:00 Yes, I would say so. I think we've got a good team that just needs some playing time together,
02:06 and if we get the time with the manager, and the new investors do a great job, I think we could get back to our glory days, and win a lot of trophies.
02:14 So, this is a significant move for the club, you'd say?
02:17 Yes, I would say that.
02:18 So, what have you made of the news about Sir Jim Ratcliffe investing in the club?
02:22 I think it's good, because the Glazers have been in for a while now, and I think it's time for a new change,
02:27 because new players in, new club, more money.
02:33 And do you think that Sir Jim Ratcliffe coming in will make all of that happen?
02:37 Yes, I think he'll invest in the club more, put money into it, and try and make the team as best as possible.
02:44 Do you think he's got enough power, enough influence to do that, with only a 25% stake?
02:51 I reckon he needs to try and invest more in the club, try and get more of it,
02:57 and try and get to know the players more, and the manager, and see how it goes, really.
03:06 And do you think this is a new era for the club, and do you think 2024 might be a better year for Manchester United?
03:12 Yes, I think a fresh start, a new season, could go on to get Champions League again and do better next season.
03:20 What do you make of the news that Sir Jim Ratcliffe has got a 25% stake in the club?
03:25 Well, 25% is okay, but we'd have preferred a full sale, obviously, in terms of where we are.
03:30 I think everybody wants Glazers out, and what we need is really a full investment.
03:36 It would have been great if Jim, big supporter, richest man in Britain, would have been great if he'd taken over the whole club.
03:42 But listen, it's got to be good news for the stadium, it's got to be good news for the team, it's got to be good news for everything.
03:46 So, thrilled about the takeover in part, I hope there's more to come.
03:51 Do you think this is the beginning of a new era for the club, and maybe 2024 might be a new start?
03:57 I'm hoping that 2024 will be a new start, but let's face it, everyone talks about a new era, potentially.
04:03 We're talking about the biggest club in the world here, and what we need is just to build ourselves back up to where we were.
04:10 And I think that we've all got so much to look forward to. United is, was and always will be the best club in the world.
04:17 And we need to make sure that we're right back on top so that we can sing about it from the terraces as well.
04:22 Was this move just what the club needed?
04:26 Look, it's half of what we needed, or a quarter of what we needed.
04:29 I think that, you know, everyone says Old Trafford's falling down. Listen, it's still a great stadium.
04:34 We're still the best fans in the world, we've got everything we need.
04:37 But 300 million going into the stadium, into the players, into the overall ethos of the club, I think it's going to be superb for us.
04:44 I'd like a bit more, but hey, can't be greedy.
