Transcript
00:00 - How do you evaluate Mason's leadership on Saturday?
00:04 - I thought it was a very natural act.
00:05 And I think that, you know, confidence in self
00:08 allows for thoughtfulness regarding others to happen.
00:13 And so oftentimes leadership is reflected
00:15 in just thoughtfulness in terms of how you interact
00:18 with others and you better be confident
00:21 in what you're doing before that has a chance
00:22 to reveal itself.
00:23 And so I know he's a confident guy.
00:27 And so I wasn't surprised that he was thoughtful
00:29 about his interactions with others
00:30 and displayed natural leadership skills in play.
00:33 - Is that something, being on the sidelines
00:35 for the past few seasons, you can watch and learn
00:38 and then kind of jump right into?
00:41 - I think it's probably something
00:42 that was cultivated in Stillwater.
00:46 He had a lot of success in Stillwater, Oklahoma, man.
00:49 He might be a college football Hall of Fame type guy,
00:51 you know, and I don't think you unlearn those experiences.
