00:00 A marquee matchup to come on Saturday night in primetime at the store in Dallas between the Cowboys and the Lions and then 14 games on Sunday, otherwise known as New Year's Eve.
00:13 Donnie, I started reading the playoff clinching scenarios for all teams around the National Football League as we enter this week 17 weekend slate.
00:21 When you look at the Buffalo Bills who have won three straight following their bye week, I got to line about five of the clinching scenarios for Buffalo.
00:30 And then I said, I'll just wait to see what happens at the end of the game in Western New York on Sunday against the New England Patriots, where Buffalo is booked as a hefty favorite, laying near two touchdowns, 13 and a half against New England.
00:43 Let's not forget Buffalo was a hefty favorite at the end of October against these Patriots in Foxborough, and they lost that game outright 29-25.
00:54 Donnie, you mentioned the bounce back spot for San Francisco in Washington this week against the Commanders following the 49ers loss to Baltimore on Christmas Day.
01:03 I think this is a bounce back spot within the division for Buffalo against New England, and I think we see some points on Sunday afternoon in Orchard Park.
01:14 It's too many points for me here to lay.
01:16 Now it's a division game.
01:17 It's double digits.
01:18 Yes, we know it is a revenge game because the Buffalo Bills lost earlier to the New England Patriots.
01:22 But take a look, get those binoculars out and look just over the horizon there, Ben.
01:27 You know who sits there? The Miami Dolphins in South Beach with a legitimate chance possibly to win the AFC East.
01:33 So does that mean that the Buffalo Bills don't care about this game and we'll lose and the Dolphins win?
01:38 Now they can't win it?
01:38 No, that's not what it means.
01:40 They're going to win this football game.
01:41 But you try to tell me late in this game, is the focus going to turn on to, "Hey, Josh, maybe we don't need you running for the extra first down.
01:47 James Cook had a good day, buddy.
01:49 Let's shut it down and give some of these other kids a chance here in the fourth quarter because we really need you for next week."
01:54 And how about the Zap Daddy over there for the New England Patriots?
01:57 Last three games, Ben, passed the ratings of 115, 85 and 117.
02:02 I think the Patriots keep this game close.
02:04 They don't win, but they cover because why?
02:07 The Buffalo Bills are looking ahead to the Miami Dolphins with that big picture in mind of, "Hey, you know what?
02:13 We might be able to get some home games here in Western New York and see if we can actually make the Super Bowl this time around."
02:19 Yeah, absolutely so.
02:20 If Buffalo does do that because Buffalo beat Miami back in the opening month of this season, the Bills, of course, would have the season sweep over the Finns.
02:29 That would be the ultimate tiebreaker.
02:30 But they would need Miami to lose on the road on Sunday in the marquee matchup of Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens to have that winner take all game for the division.
02:40 Now, Buffalo has not been good as north of a touchdown favorite this year, as we saw last week surviving in SoFi on Saturday night against the LA Chargers.
02:50 As more than a touchdown favorite this year, the Bills are 2-5 against the number they've actually lost twice outright, including against this Patriots team back on October 22nd.
03:01 New England as an underdog this year, 3-7-1 against the spread.
03:05 All three of those covers as an underdog.
03:08 The three wins that New England has had outright as an underdog as well, including at home against the Buffalo Bills.
