Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ayodhya today to inaugurate the city's newly constructed airport and unveil the redeveloped railway station. The prime minister engaged in a lively roadshow through the city, with heavy security in place. Amid cheers and flower showers from gathered crowds, Prime Minister Modi waved as his convoy traversed the roads. The 8-kilometre roadshow commenced shortly after the prime minister's arrival at the temple town, starting from airport gate number 3 and progressing towards the highway, where eager onlookers sought a glimpse of him. Expressing excitement, local resident Prakash Bajpayee remarked, "It's indeed a significant day for us. Ayodhya has reclaimed its lost glory, thanks to our Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and PM Narendra Modi. We eagerly await January 22, 2024, the day the idol of Lord Ram will be placed in the temple."

01:24 connectivity and preserve the rich heritage of Ayodhya, the city of Lord Sri Ram."
01:30 The grand roadshow was followed by the inauguration of the renovated Ayodhya Railway Junction,
01:34 where PM Modi flagged off six Vandibharat and two Amritbharat trains.
01:39 The Amritbharat Express, a new category of super-fast passenger trains, features LHP
01:44 push-pull technology with non-air-conditioned coaches and locomotives at both ends for enhanced
01:49 acceleration.
01:50 Subsequently, the Maharishi Valmiki Ayodhya Dham International Airport was inaugurated.
01:55 The airport, operational from January 6, was developed at a cost exceeding Rs 1,450 crore
02:01 and is expected to serve at least 10 lakh passengers annually.
02:05 In addition to these initiatives, the PM inaugurated development projects worth Rs 15,000 crore,
02:10 including projects amounting to about Rs 11,100 crore for Ayodhya's development and surrounding
02:15 areas, along with projects worth Rs 4,600 crore related to various projects across Uttar Pradesh.
