00:00 >> I think he's just, he's preparing well.
00:02 And I think he's going out and attacking and having a lot of success.
00:09 I know it's one game, but we'll see what happens.
00:11 >> You gave him the game ball after the last game.
00:14 What is the level of confidence in him to lead the offense again in that?
00:19 >> Whoever's got the ball in their hands, we gotta make sure we compliment them.
00:23 And I think that means not playing scared or playing to lose.
00:29 Going out there, just slinging around, know what you can do and
00:32 we'll back you up either way.
00:34 >> To that point, have you seen Mason's game kind of mature from where he was when
00:38 he was starting in 2019 to the way that he came out and
00:41 played as far as not being scared or throwing it around?
00:43 >> I think when you look at his preseason, I know it's preseason.
00:47 But he looked like he had command of the ball during that.
00:51 But he waited his time and was ready for the opportunity.
00:54 >> He's talked about kind of maybe a fun relationship between him and
00:57 some of the defensive guys.
00:58 What's that like in terms of the race?
01:01 >> I just don't think he ever backs away from it.
01:04 I think in practice, you can either go through the motions or
01:08 you can really take advantage and say, hey, I'm competing against a good defense.
01:13 What can I do?
01:14 What can I see?
01:15 How can I incorporate to this game?
01:17 I think any player can do that.
01:19 My first year is I didn't even start.
01:21 So I think there's a lot of work that gets put in to scout team and
01:27 being ready for your moment.
