00:03 I'm right here on Saturday on College Football Today.
00:05 It's ball seats, baby.

00:14 One of the first states to legalize sports betting.
00:16 And finally, quietly, legalizing the online portion.
00:21 And that, of course, is Delaware.
00:23 Delaware offered Carly cards through their lottery
00:25 for years.
00:26 And the local retailers didn't want to lose that money.
00:30 They didn't want to lose the guys that
00:31 were coming in to fill out those Carly cards.
00:33 And they're buying some beef jerky and chips on the way out
00:36 of the store as well.
00:37 Newswire, only on Sports Grid.
00:42 Sports Grid, your 24/7 sports wagering network.
00:48 Fantasy sports today.
00:49 They were saying there's no way.
00:51 He could not possibly do this.
00:52 He won't hold out.
00:53 Pro League soccer powered by--
00:55 --the best scoring teams in the league.
00:57 They have 80 goals so far.
00:59 College Football Today.
01:01 The Hawks' team total in the first half is 0.50.5.
01:06 Pro Football Today.
01:07 Interesting drops in this game.
01:09 But I would be cautious playing this number here
01:11 with the Houston Texans.
01:12 In-game live, all access.
01:14 You see that in the NFC in terms of these wild cards
01:16 and in terms of the playoff.
01:17 In-game live, primetime.
01:20 Rich, I don't know, man.
01:22 This has just been one of those games
01:24 that doesn't make a lick of sense here.
01:25 In-game live, overtime.
01:27 Want to give the over 3 to 1 on a pretty good team.
01:30 It's hard not to take some flyers.
01:31 Football full circle.
01:33 Well, NFL officials stink.
01:35 They always will stink and they'll always ruin the game.
01:37 That's just part of it is.

01:47 Welcome back into FSD Fantasy Sports Today.
02:08 Matt and Joe with you here carrying over a conversation
02:10 from in the break, talking about the ability,
02:13 having small children, to go to certain places during the week
02:15 when most people are at their obligations versus being
02:18 forced to go on weekends.
02:19 Joe and I joke, how many divorces
02:21 happen on some of these highways,
02:22 out of some of these amusement places on a Sunday?
02:26 Oh, gosh, could you imagine?
02:28 Well, we don't want divorce.
02:29 We want marriage.
02:30 And what we like to do here is when
02:31 we build up our DFS lineups, we always
02:34 talk about the marriage between season-long fantasy, DFS,
02:38 straight up wagering.
02:39 Just winning and understanding the games,
02:41 understanding which players are up against which matchup,
02:44 it helps on all levels.
02:46 That's why it's smarter here.
02:47 Honestly, it's not just a catchphrase.
02:49 It really does work.
02:51 So let's do some work.
02:52 Starting at running back here, let's
02:53 start with the obvious name.
02:55 Everyone knows it, so fine.
02:56 Christian McCaffrey, 11 even on FanDuel, 9,600 on DK.
03:01 And again, for the new member of the audience, Joe,
03:03 you'll quickly tell them the difference between FanDuel
03:05 and DK and why these prices matter
03:07 or why you should just stay away.
03:09 Woof, go.
03:10 Yeah, look, it's 11K.
03:12 It's the most expensive it's been.
03:14 And you're going to hear me say something
03:15 I haven't said in a few weeks, which is I'm buying.
03:17 I'm buying against the Washington Commanders.
03:19 That defense is not good.
03:21 And you saw what Breeze hauled into them last week.
03:23 I can't even fathom what Christian McCaffrey
03:25 is capable of.
03:26 I also think McCaffrey has something interesting sitting
03:29 in front of him right now, which is if the Miami Dolphins should
03:33 beat the Ravens, which is not an impossibility today,
03:36 the MVP race goes into chaos again.
03:39 And the name that I keep coming back to is Christian McCaffrey.
03:42 I think that the only guy pillar to post, to borrow a phrase
03:46 that you might enjoy, has been Christian McCaffrey all season.
03:49 Brock Purdy has had his ups and downs.
03:51 Even Lamar Jackson, as good as he's been,
03:53 has Lamar Jackson been the dominant force in the NFL?
03:55 I don't think so.
03:56 I think there's only one dominant force in the NFL
03:58 from week one to week 17 right now,
04:01 and I think it's Christian McCaffrey.
04:02 And the difficulty here is the price.
04:04 So we have to find some salary relief.
04:08 We have to find some ways in order to make this work.
04:10 But you can.
04:11 You can make it work.
04:12 And I think today you're looking at a possibility
04:14 where he could approach 200 all-purpose yards in this game,
04:17 receiving and rushing combined.
04:19 If you look right now at what his prop is over on, say,
04:22 FanDuel, you're getting a combination of 124 and 1/2.
04:26 And I am well over that.
04:29 I think that is a number.
04:30 And you wonder as well, is 200 all-purpose yards really
04:33 hot take?
04:33 It is.
04:34 He hasn't done it all year.
04:35 So this would be the opportunity to do that.
04:37 And I think the game script would go that way also,
04:40 where 49ers are up.
04:42 49ers are going to run the football.
04:43 49ers are going to basically, I think,
04:45 get up early in this game.
04:46 I think it's going to be explosive and early.
04:48 And I think Christian McCaffrey could
04:49 have himself a very special day, because he's
04:51 chasing some history too.
04:52 And I think this combination here of us all collectively
04:56 in the media, so to speak, is that I
04:58 guess that's what we're part of at this point in our careers,
05:01 that the media is finding ways--
05:04 well, I mean, it's fine, whatever you want to call us,
05:06 as long as you call us at the end of the day.
05:08 But I think that you're looking at--
05:10 Brock Purdy was a guy that everybody
05:12 was looking for excuses not to give him that award.
05:14 And then he gave four excuses last week
05:16 on Christmas with all those interceptions of why
05:18 you don't give him that award.
05:20 And then Lamar Jackson is kind of like the default, well,
05:22 it's a quarterback.
05:23 You've got to give it to a quarterback.
05:24 I don't know if we have to give it to a quarterback this year.
05:27 I think at the end of the day, we're looking around.
05:29 And if there's no clear-cut person,
05:30 then you go with the guy that's got 20-plus touchdowns.
05:32 You go with the guy who has been carrying
05:34 one of the teams with the best record from week one till now.
05:37 And Christian McCaffrey is that guy.
05:39 Again, I would go over on the individual rushing props,
05:41 over on the receiving props, over on the combination, too.
05:44 The combination, to me, is the best bet on the board.
05:46 It's minus 114, so it's a little bit of juice.
05:49 But still, 124 and 1/2, I mean, he
05:51 could have this just in the rushing alone this week.
05:54 So you're not asking a whole lot.
05:55 So to me, don't even worry about the rushing and the receiving.
05:58 Go right for the combination.
05:59 And I think I'm even going to pay for this.
06:01 And if you look at this 10-5 to 11 salary,
06:05 basically, he's been the last few weeks,
06:07 he's only returned this value one time.
06:09 And it was against Arizona.
06:10 I think it's going to be more like that.
06:11 He had 39 points that week.
06:13 He had 72 receiving yards on five catches, 115 rushing yards
06:18 on 18 carries.
06:19 He also had three touchdowns.
06:21 I think it's going to look a lot more like that.
06:23 And I think this is that game where you do pay up for him.
06:25 And a lot of people won't.
06:27 They're going to fade them automatically
06:28 because of the price.
06:28 And that's even more reason in tournaments to do it too.
06:31 So I'm in on CMC in week 17.
06:33 I will pay the price, regardless of the fact
06:36 that it is super expensive.
