00:00 Breaking the record for the most Grammy wins of all time.
00:04 Welcome to WatchMojo.
00:06 And today, we're counting down our picks for celebrities who hold amazing or unique world records.
00:12 Not only has Metallica actually played all seven continents now,
00:16 we've played all seven continents in 2013.
00:19 Number 10, Eminem.
00:23 Lyrics coming at you with supersonic speed.
00:25 Ah, summa-lumma-dooma-lumma, you assuming...
00:26 Marshall Mathers has been topping the music charts under his professional name, Eminem, since 1997.
00:33 In that time, Eminem has won many awards and has shattered all kinds of records.
00:38 He first entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2000
00:41 by becoming the fastest-selling rap artist ever.
00:44 Since then, Eminem has broken 13 more records.
00:47 The strangest one, though, came in 2013
00:50 with the release of his Grammy-nominated single, "Rap God."
00:54 Beginning to feel like a rap god, rap god
00:57 All my people from the front to the back now
00:59 Through his inhuman rhyming skills, Eminem managed to pack 1,560 words into 6 minutes and 4 seconds.
01:08 "Rap God" contains more words than any other hit single in modern music history.
01:14 Never fading and I know the haters are forever waiting for the day to think I say I fell off to be celebrating
01:17 'Cause I know the way to get 'em motivated I make elevating music, you make elevator music
01:20 Number 9, Justin Bieber.
01:22 And I was like, baby, baby, baby, oh
01:27 Justin Bieber managed to leverage a YouTube channel into unparalleled success.
01:32 Bieber became an incredibly successful solo artist.
01:35 In fact, he became the first solo artist to achieve three number one albums before turning 18.
01:42 That's pretty incredible.
01:43 For you, I would have done whatever
01:46 And I just can't believe we ain't together
01:50 Despite all that success, Bieber has long been a polarizing figure.
01:54 Both his music and his personal behavior have earned the singer the ire of the internet.
01:58 In 2016, the enmity came full circle when Bieber broke a more ignominious record.
02:04 Thought you'd always be mine, mine
02:08 The music video for his song "Baby", originally released in 2010, became the most hated YouTube video of all time.
02:16 Though the record was broken a few years later, you have to wonder if that's a former record that still haunts the Canadian pop star.
02:23 Number 8, Snoop Dogg
02:25 The Paradise Cocktail, officially recognized by the International Bartenders Association, has been around since 1930.
02:32 Now these types of things happen all the time
02:35 You gotta get yours, but fool, I gotta get mine
02:37 If you are unfamiliar, you may recognize its more modern, popular name, Gin and Juice.
02:43 The cocktail was thrust into the limelight thanks to rapper Snoop Dogg's song, "Gin and Juice", on his debut album in 1993.
02:51 The rapper has since been known for his playful antics, and in 2018, he took them to the extreme.
02:57 Stay up, Snoop, stay up! We just broke a record!
03:02 At the Bottle Rock Napa Valley Music Festival, Top Chef winner Michael Viltaggio invited the rapper on stage to make history.
03:09 Yo, it was huge, like the size of a short person, but taller than that person.
03:14 Wow!
03:14 Yeah, so it was officially recognized by the Guineas World Records as the largest Paradise Cocktail.
03:19 Snoop subsequently helped mix up the largest gin and juice in human history, after mixing 180 bottles of gin with apricot brandy and orange juice.
03:29 Number 7, Vanna White
03:31 For 40 years and counting, Vanna White has graced TV screens across America and the world on the game show Wheel of Fortune.
03:39 Congratulations and welcome.
03:40 Thank you. I am very excited and happy to be part of Wheel of Fortune.
03:44 In 2013, representatives from Guinness surprised her with an amazing world record.
03:49 During her then 30 seasons of Wheel of Fortune, they estimated that Vanna had clapped almost three and a half million times.
03:56 Her record currently stands at nearly 3.5 million claps over the last 30 seasons.
04:01 In 30 years, she's missed only 10 episodes of the show.
04:04 Since that record was earned a decade ago, as of 2023, she's most certainly padded her record with many, many more rounds of applause.
04:13 She deserves her own round of applause for that.
04:16 I never thought of it that way, but yeah, wow, I'm breaking records every day.
04:20 Number 6, Christopher Lee
04:22 Sir Christopher Lee was one of the most fascinating actors ever to grace the silver screen.
04:27 Can we not have peace? You and I?
04:30 We shall have peace.
04:32 And due to his incredibly long, varied and successful career, this legendary thespian garnered a plethora of records of varying kinds.
04:41 He was the oldest voice actor to work on a video game.
04:44 It's because the breath's driven out of your body.
04:49 At the tender age of 91, he was also the oldest musician ever to hit the top 20 on the Billboard charts with the release of the single "Jingle Hell".
04:58 Lee, a well-known sword expert, is also unofficially touted as having filmed more sword fights than any other actor.
05:05 Now that's an impressive list of achievements.
05:08 Number 5, The Rock
05:10 Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, in addition to being one of the hardest-working people in Hollywood, is famously generous both with his money and time.
05:18 Hands down, without a shadow of a doubt, the best thing about being famous is making people happy.
05:24 At the London premiere of his film "San Andreas", The Rock set out to prove it.
05:28 London has always been a special place for me and my films, and I basically started my career here in London back when I was wrestling.
05:35 While working the crowd of fans, the wrestler-turned-Hollywood-superstar set a record for the most selfies in three minutes.
05:42 A queue of fans played along, and when all was said and done, The Rock racked up 105 selfies.
05:48 While that record was later broken, The Rock and his team holds another record.
05:53 In 2017, they managed to build the world's largest seven-layer dip.
05:58 The number to beat is 440.925 pounds.
06:03 We have weighed the dip, and I can confirm that it has a weight of 540 pounds.
06:11 Number 4, Beyonce
06:13 I close my eyes and travel through realms of space and time.
06:17 Let's be real for a second.
06:19 She needs no world records to pad her resume.
06:22 She is Queen B.
06:24 Needing them or not, though, Beyonce holds more than a few.
06:27 We are witnessing history tonight.
06:29 It should come as no surprise that Beyonce is the absolute queen of the Grammys.
06:33 She's won the most Grammy awards ever, as well as the most won by a vocalist.
06:38 She has also had the most Grammy nominations for record of the year.
06:41 She is also the first, and as of now only, artist to have every one of her first seven solo albums debut at number one.
06:49 Now that's success.
06:51 I'd like to thank the queer community for your love and for inventing this genre.
06:56 God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys.
07:00 Number 3, Jackie Chan
07:02 What are you doing?
07:04 I was just trying to give us a head start.
07:06 Thank you for opening the door.
07:09 Jackie Chan started out as a Hong Kong cinema child actor in 1962.
07:14 By 1971, he had graduated to martial arts films.
07:18 You are too reckless in the film industry.
07:21 Reckless? You are an outsider.
07:23 We martial artists are just like them.
07:26 The following year, he worked as a stuntman in Bruce Lee's Fist of Fury and has never looked back.
07:31 In 50 years, Chan has appeared in over 150 films.
07:35 In 2016, he was the second highest paid actor on earth.
07:39 But second place doesn't fit the greatest stunt actor in film.
07:42 For over a decade, Chan has held and added to his record of the most stunts ever by a living actor.
07:48 Anytime you see I knock my hair, rolling the camera.
07:51 Chan has spent half a century entertaining audiences around the world, putting his life and health on the line.
07:56 If anyone deserves to hold this record forever, it's Jackie Chan.
08:01 Number 2, 21 Pilots
08:03 In 2013, Pharrell released his insanely catchy song, "Happy".
08:08 Because I'm happy, clap along if you feel like a room without a roof.
08:14 The song debuted with the world's first 24-hour music video, which shattered the previous record of just under 40 minutes.
08:20 The record lasted for seven years until the band, 21 Pilots, did something completely and utterly amazing.
08:27 They attempted to create a never-ending music video.
08:30 They invited their fans to upload fan-created videos to their website to go with their song, "Level of Concern".
08:36 Panic on the brain, world has gone insane. Things are starting to get heavy.
08:43 The videos were stitched together on a YouTube live stream while "Level of Concern" played on a never-ending loop.
08:49 The result is a music video that lasted for a mind-boggling 4,264 hours.
08:56 The video played unceasingly for 177 days, 16 hours, 10 minutes, and 25 seconds.
09:04 I told you, the level of concern, but you walked by like you never heard.

09:27 #1 Metallica For 40 years, the legendary Metallica has stayed at the forefront of music.
09:34 They achieved mainstream success and became ensconced in pop culture.
09:38 But Metallica has never stagnated, always looking to the future,
09:49 including partnering in 1999 with the San Francisco Symphony to combine symphonic music with metal.
09:56 Released in December 2013, Metallica set a huge world record.
10:00 They performed an hour-long show, "Freeze 'Em All," for 120 scientists and contest winners at Carlini Station in Antarctica.
10:13 That performance made Metallica the first, and so far only, musical act to perform on every continent on Earth.
10:20 And they've rocked every one.
10:23 #2 The Rock
