00:02 Last year, the city and the Krotoszyn commune received a grant from the government

00:07 for the reconstruction of monuments for conservation and restaurant works

00:13 for the churches located in our commune.

00:17 I am talking about the Church of Mary Magdalene,

00:19 the Church of Peter and Paul,

00:21 the Church of Bobol and the Church of Santa Claus in the parish of Benice.

00:31 The money comes from the government program for the reconstruction of monuments

00:35 included in the large program of the Polish Council.

00:39 The situation was that at the beginning the municipality was doing a recognition

00:43 among the parishes, in general among the monuments located in the area of the municipality,

00:47 whose owners are interested in receiving grants for conservation works.

00:55 Another condition was that a given site had to be included in the list of monuments

01:01 or national or municipal monuments.

01:03 After all these procedures, the municipality took part in the competition

01:09 and there were two editions of this competition.

01:12 The first edition was funded by the parish of Mary Magdalene and the parish of Peter and Paul.

01:19 Additionally, we received money for one of the facilities owned by the city of Krotoszyn,

01:25 that is, our town hall, and specifically for the renovation of the historic stained-glass windows.

01:33 In the second edition, we received money for the parish of Bobol and the parish of Santa Claus in Benice.

01:44 At the last session, the council members passed a resolution

01:49 that would enable the parish to receive the grant and then to distribute it.

01:56 Since this program is so structured that the city and the municipality make applications for grants,

02:01 the whole procedure, that is, the performer chooses and carries out all the activities directly

02:07 to the owner of the given monument, in this case it will be the parish.

02:12 I must add that the parish of Mary Magdalene has already chosen the performer.

02:18 As for the parish of Peter and Paul, whose technical approval,

02:22 which was also undertaken at yesterday's session,

02:29 we are at the stage of the choice of this performer.

02:32 And right after the New Year, we will start working to help the parish

02:37 in answering the questions about the choice of the performer for Bobol and the parish in Benice.
