In celebratory fashion for the release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the upcoming action RPG is making its way to hit battle royale game Apex Legends developed by Respawn Entertainment. Players will be able to collect different color Materia granting new abilities alongside being able to wield the legendary Buster Sword. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth-inspired cosmetics are also available with new Iconic-skins making their way into the game as well. The Apex Legends X Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth collaboration event starts on January 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
