Ladies In Charge - Ep 6 (All That Glitters) (1986)

Ep 6: All That Glitters. In the final episode of the period mystery drama, the Ladies Agency receive a letter from the mysterious Countess Kutuzov asking them to meet her at her home one evening. When there, she tells them of her escape from Czechoslovakia with her nephew to avoid the invading Bolskeviks, where they arrived in England with her valuable jewels. However, at Victoria Station both jewels and nephew disappeared before the train arrived. The Countess believes her nephew may of been kidnapped by Bolskeviks and wishes the women to find him. The women suspect the nephew may of absconded with the jewels himself, but could it be more sinister than they realize?

Starring Carol Royle, Julia Hills, Julia Swift, with guest stars Irene Worth, Nigel Davenport, Jonathan Kydd, Diana Payan, Robert Addie, Matthew Solon, Maggie McCarthy, Christina Greatrex and Graham Chinn. This was the last of the series of the 1986 ITV period mystery drama, which has rarely been repeated since it's broadcast.
