00:21 The taping for the GMA Public Affairs Afternoon Prime Series "Makiling" was done earlier this morning by Derek Monasterio, El Villanueva, and the other cast.

00:35 But they came fresh and all glammed up to the Grand Media Conference for the series.

00:42 Pressured but excited are the viewers of the Public Affairs series because "Makiling" will be released starting Monday after "Stolen Life."

00:55 El will play Amira, a woman from the family of drug dealers who, out of a desire to help the family,

01:04 left Manila to work as a janitor in a school.

01:11 Here, he will experience the terrifying violence of the Crazy Five, led by Christopher Martin, Myrtle Sarosa, Claire Castro, TJ Marquez, and Royce Cabrera.

01:26 The five want to steal a mysterious plant from Amira in the forest of Makiling, the Mucha.

01:35 The only ally and defender of Amira is Alex, Derek's character.

01:42 His brother, Rose, also makes Amira's life difficult.

01:48 Thea Tolentino's character is stealing from Alex.
