09:33 So, well, our men were already at Boyarifa fighting a fire
09:43 So, well, our men were already at Boyarifa fighting a fire
09:43 So, well, our men were already at Boyarifa fighting a fire involving a five-bedroom house when we were called in to a fire at Domi Market. Upon arrival, we realized that one or two of the building structures and other containers and stalls near the building were on fire.
10:02 So, our plans that got there first was to call for reinforcements from Circle and Flagstaff House fire stations.
10:12 And then also, our national headquarters had to later join in to help totally fight the fire.
10:20 As it stands now, almost 50 structures have been affected by the fire, but we can confidently say that well over 500 buildings and structures within the market have been salvaged from the fire.
10:35 It took firefighters hours to bring the fire under control. Some of the items affected include used clothing and then also takeaway packs and other items that they sell in the market.
10:54 The affected shops mostly were used as warehouses for these second-hand clothing and other plastic materials. As it stands now, investigations are ongoing. People are of the suspicion that it might be arson. We are not willing to arson out, but we want to make sure that we have a conclusive investigation to be able to come up with an actual truth to the matter.
11:21 The Ministry of Youth Development has announced that the Congress will be holding a meeting to discuss the issue of the fire.

17:31 (speaking in foreign language)
17:35 (speaking in foreign language)
17:38 - Fake news, it's so dangerous.
17:43 (speaking in foreign language)
17:47 Because of misinformation,
17:50 they enthrall me, all kinds of things.
17:52 (speaking in foreign language)
18:01 (speaking in foreign language)
18:29 (speaking in foreign language)
18:33 - The economy is bankrupt,
18:47 and Ghana has defaulted on its debt obligations.
18:56 Prices of commodities have skyrocketed.
19:00 The cocoa sector has virtually collapsed.
19:07 And pensioners have been tortured
19:13 with some sent to their early graves
19:17 through the crude and painful financial haircuts
19:22 meted out to many families.
19:27 (speaking in foreign language)
19:30 - Even though 2024 will be a difficult year,
19:42 filled with economic hardship
19:45 because of the mismanagement of economy,
19:49 on the other hand, 2024 also brings hope.
19:54 Hope because the non-performing government
19:58 is on its way out of office.
20:02 (speaking in foreign language)
20:18 Every evidence and indicator
20:22 shows the NDC will win the 2024 elections.
20:27 Beyond the polls published by pollsters,
20:33 our series of internal research
20:40 consistently points to a one-third victory
20:44 for John Ramani Mahama
20:46 with a convincing working majority in parliament.
20:50 (speaking in foreign language)
20:54 - We will not congratulate anybody
21:15 who meddles Ghanaians to secure power.
21:20 We will not.
21:23 And we mean it.
21:24 We shall go after the perpetrators
21:29 who meddled the aid Ghanaians during the 2020 elections.
21:32 Even if they meddle more in 2024.
21:38 We shall find the perpetrators.
21:44 They can run, but they cannot hide.
21:46 And we shall punish the perpetrators
21:49 when we win power on December 7th, this year.
21:54 (audience applauding)
21:57 (speaking in foreign language)
22:00 (speaking in foreign language)
22:26 - So, CSOs, leadership of faith-based organizations,
22:31 traditional authorities.
22:35 If a criminal is rewarded,
22:43 how do you prevent crime?
22:53 So we still have enough time
22:56 for the criminals to be identified and dealt with
23:01 so that it will give assurance
23:04 to the good citizens
23:09 to realize that it pays to be a good citizen.
23:16 And that is the surest way of ensuring
23:22 that there is peace in this country.
23:24 And we can reduce the incidence of electoral violence.
23:31 It is not the other way around.
23:36 Where criminals who are involved
23:41 in using violence and thuggery to compromise our elections
23:47 are rewarded with political positions and appointments.
23:52 Everybody will want to be a criminal
23:56 so that they can enjoy the rewards of being a criminal.
24:01 The criminal case of this wrongful printing
24:10 of one million extra ballot papers
24:14 is still in the hands of the police for over three years.
24:19 (audience murmuring)
24:22 And to add insult to injuries,
24:26 the Electoral Commission continues to use the services
24:30 of such printing firms.
24:33 What are we encouraging?
24:35 (speaking in foreign language)
24:39 (upbeat music)
24:48 (speaking in foreign language)

30:04 (speaking in foreign language)
30:07 - It's always about to give back.
30:33 The fans give us a lot of love and support.
30:38 So it's very important, I think,
30:40 to have these sessions also where it's open,
30:44 where people can see and feel the players
30:47 and make pictures or whatsoever, absolutely.
30:49 And it's just about the right balance.
30:52 Everything has to come at a time,
30:53 and I'm very, very sure that they will find a day
30:56 where they have open gates for the fans.
31:00 (speaking in foreign language)
31:03 - First of all, I would like to thank God
31:24 for making this possible today.
31:27 I believe, as always, that with God, everything is possible.
31:31 I want to really thank Wembley Construction Limited
31:35 and Mr. Coleman here,
31:38 who has been the contractor on this project.
31:41 I'm very, very impressed.
31:44 This is one of the best AstroTurfs I've visited
31:47 in this country, and I've visited a lot of AstroTurfs.
31:50 And so I'm very happy with the work.
31:54 The facilities are first class,
31:56 and I just hope that we maintain them as such
31:59 as we go forward.
32:00 But I'm a happy man today,
32:02 and I'm very impressed with the work that has been done.
32:06 I think that it will be a facility
32:08 that will help sports, and particularly football,
32:12 in Naleruga-Gambaga and its environs.
32:17 And I hope that they will use it fully to get it done.
