01:19 After this derailment they had to backtrack.
01:22 We'll get to the bottom of this. I realized that we had issues obviously last week as well.
01:26 They say issues from this derailment aren't connected to last week's collision on Thursday.
01:31 Where an out of service northbound one train ran into another train with 300 on board.
01:35 Just north of the 96th Street station on the Upper West Side.
01:39 Byers though wearing her hat as a passenger and train operator hopes her higher ups can get some stronger solutions on the rails.
01:46 There's a process for safety and they should be looking into why trains are derailing. Why was there a collision?
01:55 The MTA tells us their plan is to have service restored by rush hour early Thursday morning.
02:00 That's the latest from Coney Island, Kendall Green, Fox 5 News.
