00:07 I want you to keep everyone away from the windows.
00:11 I love a space adventure, especially
00:13 from inside a space station.
00:15 ISS is about three Americans, three Russians,
00:18 who coexist on the International Space Station.
00:21 They end up being a family.
00:23 It's kind of how it works up there.
00:25 A world war unfolds on Earth.
00:26 Both governments reach out to their respective astronauts,
00:29 ask them to take control of the station by any means necessary.
00:33 And things go dark pretty quickly.
00:35 What do you suggest we do now?
00:38 Kira Foster is a young and up-and-coming science
00:41 engineer.
00:42 The audience gets to know the ISS through Kira's eyes.
00:45 We don't talk politics.
00:47 Here, we're one.
00:48 It's really cool to be sharing a screen with Ariana DeBose.
00:51 Obviously, she's multifaceted and talented.
00:53 She's just coming off of, like, West Side Story, Spielberg.
00:56 Kira's function is to take in each person
00:59 and let the audience make their decisions around it.
01:04 When I first thought of how this was going to work,
01:07 doing zero gravity in every scene,
01:09 the cage became this mobile device
01:11 that we can hang all our cast members at once
01:13 and do what the zero gravity needs to look like,
01:15 including the action scenes.
01:18 I always like movies that take heightened and extreme ideas
01:21 and then try to find a way to make them feel relatable.
01:24 It's a really interesting take on actual reality.
01:27 It's different from a lot of space movies.
01:29 The audience will go on the ride with us.
01:31 I like feeling like it's here and now
01:33 and that this is actually something that
01:34 could be happening up there.
01:36 It's a story about survival.
01:37 It's a story about human instincts.
01:39 It's a story about mankind.
