00:58 Wow, fresh out of Indianapolis right there.
01:00 I moved to California one month
01:02 after I graduated from high school
01:04 in search of a dream that I had been able
01:06 to live out beyond my wildest expectations.
01:09 When I got there, they liked me,
01:12 so they put me on the riser,
01:15 on the risers, which was kind of like a big deal,
01:17 and that gray dress that I had on
01:19 was my graduation dress that was really special to me,
01:23 so I was killing with the shoulders,
01:24 killing with the shoulders.
01:26 So whenever I see that, it brings back wonderful memories.
01:30 - All the money in the world won't clean you up.
01:33 You disgust me.
01:34 - Generations.
01:35 My first of many fight scenes,
01:40 but this is a classic right here.
01:42 Yep, I got her there.
01:43 Okay, that was a good punch.
01:45 That take that you guys saw, one take.
01:48 We did the whole choreography in one take,
01:51 and so we were really proud of ourselves
01:53 that we didn't have to keep going back
01:54 and doing it over and over again.
01:57 - I miss you.
01:58 - I've been busy.
01:59 - Kristoff, he just was a wonderful man.
02:02 Before he passed away,
02:03 I just did a Christmas movie together for Lifetime,
02:06 and we were actually going to do a sequel,
02:09 and unfortunately, he passed away,
02:12 and I miss him.
02:14 I think of him often.
02:15 The love scene to me was the most crazy experience
02:22 that I've had as an actress,
02:23 'cause I was like, "Whoa, what is this?"
02:26 At first, you think you're ready,
02:28 and then someone kind of come towards you,
02:29 and you start actually making out,
02:32 and it was just, I remember I was like,
02:33 "Cut, I'm out of here."
02:35 It was like exit stage left for Vivica.
02:38 - When you are with me,
02:40 I don't want you to be looking at other women.
02:42 - Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
02:44 This led to so many,
02:47 oh gosh, a whole brand new chapter.
02:51 I remember getting a call immediately after the audition.
02:54 They were like, "Tell her she nailed it.
02:56 "Be on set."
02:57 I think I started working within a day or so.
03:00 Will Smith, just a gentleman.
03:05 This just brings back a lot of really good memories,
03:07 'cause, guys, I can't believe you're making me cry like this,
03:10 but it's good.
03:11 It's like tears of really good memories.
03:15 I can't believe how long I've been doing this.

03:19 - Out all night.
03:20 Yeah, with Miss Patti LaBelle, my forever mother.
03:24 - It's kind of like a combination of comedy,
03:27 a little drama, and a little soul train.
03:29 - Patti LaBelle was a woman who taught me
03:31 about having a good pair of shoes,
03:33 'cause one time they dressed me in this outfit,
03:34 and she was like, "Dress is cute, hate the shoes."
03:37 And so that's why people always compliment me so much now,
03:41 saying, "You know, Vivica, you got a mean shoe game."
03:45 And I got that lesson from Patti LaBelle.

03:50 - Independence Day.
03:53 - I'm so thrilled and happy to be here.

04:03 I was in Toronto filming "Booty Call,"
04:05 and the producer wanted to be a brat and not let me off.
04:09 I remember that, and so Jamie Foxx,
04:12 Tommy Davidson, and Tamela Jones were going to boycott,
04:16 and they're like, "We're not gonna show up for work,
04:18 "because do you realize how big of a movie
04:21 "this is going to be?"
04:22 The movie was playing 24 hours a day around the clock.
04:25 It started the summer blockbusters.
04:30 - Who plays the sexy girl in the movie?
04:31 (buzzer buzzing)
04:33 No, that's Vivica.
04:35 - See, the tears are gonna start coming again.
04:38 Set it off.
04:42 It was four girls that robbed banks,
04:45 and people didn't think that they would
04:47 take the movie seriously.
04:48 This movie was truly a labor of love
04:52 for everyone involved.
04:54 It's a classic, and I wish we didn't die,
04:57 so that we could've set it off again.

04:59 I'm feeling hot.

05:05 Glitter came out of my skin for two weeks.
05:07 That's all I'm gonna say.
05:09 I don't think I've ever had so much damn glitter
05:12 on me in my life.
05:14 - What was it like to work with George Clooney, though?
05:16 - He was fine.
05:17 Oh, Lord, George Clooney, my goodness.
05:20 He was very nice, but good looking man.
05:24 You know why he's a movie star.
05:26 - I fight like sisters every now and then.
05:28 - Soul food.
05:30 Why is somebody doing my mascara as I'm doing an interview?
05:33 - It's been really tasty.
05:35 - You think, oh my God, we're gonna get to eat soul food.
05:38 We'll eat soul food every day
05:40 for the first three weeks of filming.
05:42 So then we go on the press tour,
05:46 and guess what everyone wants to feed us?
05:48 Soul food.
05:49 I was like, can we have any other kind of food?
05:52 Can we get some Mexican, some Japanese,
05:54 can we get anything but soul food?
05:56 - Men, they want a woman in public and a freaking private.

06:02 That's me going through my light hair and contact lenses.
06:05 I don't know what I was thinking here,
06:08 but that's all right, though.
06:09 That dress was fabulous.

06:19 who I kissed him for all the girls.
06:20 Yes, I did.
06:21 Yeah, they had to cut a couple of times on that one.
06:24 He was a great kisser.
06:25 He really was.
06:26 Morris Chestnut and Lorenz Tate had to be the best kisser,
06:30 but I won an award for kissing Will Smith
06:32 for Independence Day.
06:34 We won Best Kiss MTV Award.
06:36 So I've had some good kissers in my life,
06:39 but I tell you that Morris Chestnut's at the top of the list.

06:48 Six months of training.
06:51 I went from like a size 8, 10 down to a two.
06:55 That's all we did was work out.
06:56 I was like, are we training for the damn Olympics?

07:02 we worked out nine hours a day.

07:33 and talk like a pamper.

07:37 I got this job because of "Celebrity Apprentice,"
07:40 because I had that epic boardroom showdown with Kenya Moore.
07:44 - I certainly do not go.
07:46 - I could care less, bounce.
07:48 - Lee Daniels called me up.
07:50 He was like, "Girl, oh honey, oh no, baby.
07:53 Girl, I got to figure out some kind of way
07:55 to get you on 'Empire.'"
07:56 And I was so glad because everybody wanted to be on "Empire."
07:59 - I've had a wonderful time playing
08:01 "Cookie Solder's" sister.
08:02 Now, I gotta ask you, are you getting a spinoff?
08:04 'Cause that's the rumor.
08:05 - Well, you know.
08:07 - We were supposed to do a spinoff.
08:09 We really were.
08:11 And things just didn't work out, unfortunately.
08:14 But I would jump at the opportunity
08:16 to work with Taraji again.
08:18 I mean, she is just creme de la creme.
08:21 - I'd kind of just like to get back to work.
08:23 - Well, what do you think that we're doing here right now?
08:26 I may be new here, but I'm not new to the job.
08:28 I'm a marketing director, which means I direct.
08:32 - Okay, hair, chicken, charge.
08:35 So this is my new film that's gonna be coming out,
08:37 "The Wrong Life Coach."
08:39 I am so grateful to Lifetime.
08:42 They have turned me into a filmmaker.
08:44 And I would have never saw this chapter of my life coming,
08:47 but I'm very grateful.
08:48 - Vivica has been involved in 33 movies
08:52 for Lifetime's "The Wrong" franchise.
08:54 Her latest one, "The Wrong Life Coach," premieres tonight.
08:57 - Lifetime knows their audience.
08:59 And the ladies binge watch my films,
09:02 and they really love this franchise.
09:05 I love making movies.
09:06 I love what I do.
09:08 The magic of taking a script
09:10 and bringing it to the screen for me is just amazing.
09:15 And I hope to keep doing it for a while,
09:19 either in front of the camera or behind it.
09:22 July 30th, I will be turning 60 years old.
09:25 And I've been fabulous at 50,
09:27 and I hope to keep on being sizzling at 60,
09:30 and even sexier at 70, and on and on and so forth.
09:34 You know, life is good.
09:35 And I believe that age is just a number.
09:38 And the fact that I've just had such a beautiful career
09:41 to have such longevity keeps me keeping it tight
09:45 and keeping it rough.
