00:05 Just bringing you some of our headlines this morning. First up our warning for motorists

00:12 there is a new phase beginning of roadworks and

00:16 beginning to start on the A1 north of Doncaster. That's obviously going to cause some disruption. We've got the dates

00:24 and the times that that work will be carried out

00:28 Obviously if you can avoid the area, we always say do so, but there will be some diversions in place

00:34 while that continues, so hopefully it won't cause too much disruption to too many people but

00:41 there's a warning there anyway. Then we have an article from Doncaster Council. They're going to be voting this week on

00:50 whether to approve a new what's called a furnished

00:54 tenancy scheme managed by themselves

00:57 for a social housing provider

01:00 St. Ledger. The scheme will allow people taking up tenancies in the council's high priority

01:07 platinum band to take up furniture packages as part of their agreement

01:14 That meeting I believe is taking place on Wednesday. So we'll bring you more on that

01:20 after the meeting has taken place

01:25 And then a nice nice story. Yeah, Christmas is probably a distant memory for most people

01:31 but we've got another little festive story there. The local branch of the Salvation Army has been doing its wonderful job as usual over the

01:37 festive period and

01:39 we have an article which explains that they've given more than a thousand Christmas

01:45 gifts to children across the region over Christmas and on Christmas Day itself

01:53 which is just absolutely lovely and really touching and what a fantastic job they do. So brought a smile to many children's faces
