00:00 Hi, I'm Phoebe and I'm going to play This or That with Variety.
00:03 Coronation Street or Bridgerton?
00:06 Oh my God, hilarious.
00:08 Coronation Street, no.
00:10 I grew up watching Coronation Street,
00:12 so it's like a big part of my household.
00:16 And Bridgerton was the show that I was in,
00:18 so I also love both.
00:21 I love both.
00:22 Stay in or go out?
00:24 Definitely depends on the season.
00:26 Right now I'm in my stay-in phase.
00:30 Sometimes it's nice to go out and have fun.
00:32 But right now I'm stay-in, movie, dinner,
00:38 some snacks, perfect night.
00:40 Again, it depends what city I'm in.
00:43 In London, in December I love to go to a nice cozy pub
00:47 and have a pint of Guinness and some big fat chips
00:51 with ketchup and mayonnaise.
00:53 Like a muddy walk ending at the pub
00:56 on like a cold December evening, heaven.
01:00 Watch TV or watch a film?
01:03 Definitely watch a movie.
01:04 I'm not a big TV person.
01:08 My housemate watches a lot of TV,
01:11 so he's slowly getting me into The Real Housewives right now.
01:15 Real Housewives is so like sitting,
01:17 it's always on in my house.
01:19 When it's on, I catch glimpses of the drama.
01:23 But if it was up to me, it'd definitely be a movie.
01:27 Ooh, what was the last film I watched?
01:29 I think it was Anatomy of a Fall or Saltburn,
01:32 one of the two.
01:33 And they both really stuck with me actually.
01:36 Driver or passenger?
01:38 Driver, definitely.
01:41 I prefer driving on the English side of the road,
01:44 but I prefer the roads in America
01:46 'cause they're bigger and there's more room.
01:48 So I could do either.
01:50 On a road trip, radio or playlist?
01:54 Oh, definitely radio.
01:56 I mean, no, not radio.
01:58 Definitely a playlist.
01:59 Yeah, I have road trip playlists,
02:01 especially for road trips.
02:04 It's a real mix.
02:05 Who was I listening to today?
02:07 I was listening to Fleetwood Mac,
02:10 bit of Coldplay, Fred again.
02:13 Right now is my current,
02:15 listening to a lot of Fred again right now.
02:18 UK snacks or US snacks?
02:21 UK snacks, 100%.
02:23 I'm a big chocolate person.
02:25 So if I was to choose something,
02:27 it would be like a Cadbury's.
02:30 I really love Cadbury's buttons or Maltesers.
02:33 Be asked out or ask them out?
02:36 Ooh.
02:37 Both, depending on the occasion.
02:42 Both is nice.
02:43 Asking someone out is definitely more terrifying.
02:47 But I've been to either.
02:50 Date night.
02:51 I really love like a good early 6.30 PM dinner
02:56 and then maybe a movie afterwards.
02:58 I think that's the dream date night.
03:00 Star in a comedy or star in a drama?
03:05 I've starred in a few dramas at this point.
03:11 So maybe a comedy would be nice.
03:13 I'd like, it'd be fun to switch it up.
03:15 The last few movies I've done have been
03:18 more on the drama side than comedy.
03:20 Can you share any behind the scenes moments from "Fair Play"?
03:23 It's quite an intense shoot.
03:26 I remember me and Eddie Marzan
03:29 would always have a real laugh on set.
03:31 And he's very good at kind of jumping in and out of character.
03:34 So we'd always between takes have a real giggle.
03:37 Read a fiction book or nonfiction?
03:40 Ooh, it depends.
03:42 If I'm not working,
03:43 then I read a lot of fiction.
03:45 But if I am working,
03:46 I'm usually reading something different.
03:51 My favorite fiction book is probably
03:55 "A Secret History" by Donna Tartt.
03:58 Relaxing vacation or adventurous vacation?
04:02 Ooh, I like adventures.
04:06 Also depends on like if I've been working really hard
04:09 and I want to relax,
04:11 then I love the beach and the ocean.
04:13 And just relaxing.
04:15 But I also love scuba diving.
04:16 So I always like try and find somewhere that I can dive.
04:21 So I guess a bit of both.
04:23 Live in the Regency era or modern times?
04:27 Oh, modern.
04:29 Yeah.
04:30 No, no one is choosing a husband for me.
04:33 Thank you.
04:35 Improvise or stick to the script?
04:38 Scripted.
04:40 Yeah.
04:40 Yeah, improvisation is something I've been introduced to,
04:44 but I definitely grew up learning my lines
04:47 and being very regimented about the words.
04:51 So, yeah.
04:53 (upbeat music)
04:56 (upbeat music)
04:59 (upbeat music)
