Now that Hollywood is back in action after both the writers' strike and the actors’ strike came to a resolution late last year, the much delayed and much anticipated 75th Annual Emmy Awards have finally come to pass. While the Emmys are traditionally held in September, they were postponed due to the strikes and landed during Hollywood's traditional awards season, and, less traditionally, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

00:31 I love you guys so much. Thank you so much for loving me and letting me feel beautiful and black and proud of all of that.
00:42 I just love you so much. Probably not like a dream to emigrate to this country and have your child be like, "I want to do improv!"
00:50 But, you're real ones.
00:53 Thank you so much. I don't even know why I'm so emotional. I think like the Carol Burnett of it all.

02:15 I couldn't be standing here without my parents, my amazing parents, my mother, and my father who I so wish was alive to share this moment with me.
02:26 My hilarious father who loved me unconditionally.
02:30 And honestly, the person I always thank, because he's just a crazy genius for thinking of it.
02:34 Hey, Jon Stewart, wherever you are my friend, thank you for calling me up.
02:39 Thank you for asking me to come and join you on this crazy journey.
02:42 And thank you to everybody else in this category. Thank you to these people.

03:01 I love you, Evan.
03:05 Thank you very much indeed.
03:07 We want to thank HBO. This wasn't necessarily an easy show to commission right at the very beginning.
03:13 So thank you to Casey Bloys, who I first pitched it to, to Francesca Orsi and Nora Skinner who've seen it through,
03:19 and to Richard Plepler who was there at the beginning.
03:21 And we want to say a couple of hellos.
03:24 Hello to Jeremy Strong, who's making a movie, and hello to Lucy Preble, who has made a baby.
