00:00 But can I just tell you that Mads, Mads still like, what's the name of that one, that muffler?
00:05 The muffler, I'm like, it's the Niffler, Mads!
00:07 Ha ha ha.
00:07 Come on, do your research, buddy.
00:09 [Music]
00:18 Otherwise, it's just, it's just a load of wizards.
00:21 What?
00:21 [Music]
00:27 What is the big one in our film, Magical?
00:29 I would say the manticores from this.
00:31 [Music]
00:34 A manticore.
00:35 Oh.
00:36 Don't.
00:37 That big one.
00:38 Yeah, definitely.
00:39 Do not adopt that one.
00:40 Yeah, don't, don't.
00:41 Somebody can adopt it, but not my neighbor.
00:43 Yeah.
00:44 You need a tunnel.
00:45 Who's got a tunnel?
00:46 And that's going to bother the whole neighborhood as well.
00:48 I couldn't imagine 2, 3 a.m. with that thing.
00:50 I can imagine.
00:51 The manticores who are in this movie.
00:52 They're not just for Christmas.
00:53 They're not just for Christmas.
00:54 And kind of what you were saying, you know, there are some sweet ones and there are some vicious ones.
00:58 The manticore somehow, you know, disguises itself, masquerades as being of the sweet and cuddly and chirpy type.
01:05 Swivel, but delicately.
01:07 But actually they are vicious and terrifying and you don't want to run into a mummy manticore in a dark alley.
01:14 [Music]
01:18 I think the niffler.
01:19 It just steals a bunch of stuff.
01:21 That's okay.
01:22 And that's kind of concerning.
01:24 I can't just as a black person walk around with a niffler because they're just going to go around stealing stuff.
01:30 [Music]
01:33 They went that way, officer.
01:34 That is true.
01:35 But I mean, there are also creatures that just kills a lot.
01:38 Right.
01:39 Yeah, yeah.
01:40 And you think that's better?
01:41 Yeah, I know, right?
01:42 I would rather have just like a murderous creature rather than a niffler.
01:45 Bruh.
01:46 I don't know.
01:47 I just feel like it would just get me into a lot of drama.
01:49 But I mean, look, at the bright side, if he steals enough, you can always get money to bail out.
01:53 That's right, definitely.
01:54 So then I would get the niffler to go get the-
01:56 Yeah, get past that point and you're good.
01:58 Really?
01:59 I would, I mean, I've told you before, I would really like to have a niffler.
02:03 I think it just comes in handy.
02:05 But can I just tell you that Mads, Mads still like, what's the name of that one, that muffler?
02:09 The muffler.
02:10 I'm like, it's the niffler, Mads.
02:12 Come on, do your research, buddy.
02:14 Did he say that?
02:15 He got it today.
02:16 But I actually prefer the name, the muffler.
02:18 I think it's kind of great.
02:19 It's something you put on your car, isn't it?
02:21 Teddy the muffler.
02:22 Yeah, exactly.
02:23 Oh, but him.
02:24 I have a theory that the niffler is the most dangerous because who knows where that marsupial pouch goes.
02:30 It could be going to like a whole other dark dimension.
02:33 True.
02:34 And also you cannot control, there's no disciplining a niffler.
02:37 No disciplining.
02:38 No.
02:39 Can you imagine just like a pack of nifflers, just like one on your watch and another on your bracelet and another on an ankle bracelet?
02:46 You'd be, you'd be crazy.
02:51 Nifflers rule the world.
02:52 Boatruckle.
02:59 For me, I've been a big fan of Pickett from the get go.
03:03 You've been a loyal Pickett.
03:04 I have, haven't I?
03:05 You have, since day one.
03:06 I really like him.
03:07 And he's been asked which his favourite is several times and some actors will shift their allegiance.
03:12 Not Jude, he's a Pickett fan through and through.
03:14 I adore Pickett, but Pickett is a bitch.
03:16 You know the game for Christmas though.
03:17 Exactly.
03:18 I want Pickett.
03:19 I'm going to get rid of you after everything that you've done for me now, come on.
03:21 Pickett needs a lot.
03:23 He's wonderful, but he really, he's really neurotic.
03:26 So you really need to, you can't just like go, okay, you know, like I'm going to take you for a walk.
03:31 And you can't just eat a salad around Pickett, you know.
03:33 Looks at you like, side, out of the side of his eyes, just like how dare you.
03:38 That's my cousin.
03:39 He's got a good, he's got a good stink eye.
03:42 Pickett's a bit needy.
03:43 Yeah.
03:44 That's the only thing I'd say.
03:45 I mean from, I like.
03:46 Yeah, you have the hands on experience.
03:48 I do have, and I adore Pickett.
03:50 And definitely Pickett of all of the Bo Truckles has a very specific place in Newt's heart.
03:55 But occasionally, I actually love the Pickett, Niffler, not muffler combo.
04:00 I think they make, they're both fighting for Newt's love and attention.
04:04 They're the ones that he carries with him a lot.
04:06 But in this movie, they kind of team up and you see a bit of affection between the two of them.
04:17 You need a lock, you need someone who can pick a lock and you need a thief.
04:20 You do, you do.
04:21 The two of them together are ideal.
04:23 The thief and the criminal, basically.
04:25 That's another whole, that's an HBO Max series right there.
04:28 The Niffler and Pickett.
04:29 The chilling?
04:31 Oh yeah, but, so you're like constantly being judged and measured, right?
04:36 Yeah.
04:37 So if it's not bowing all the time, you know you've done something wrong.
04:39 Okay, sorry about that.
04:40 Yeah, I've told him, am I not worthy?
04:43 Am I like feeding you and I'm not worthy?
04:45 It's a lot of pressure.
04:46 Absolutely.
04:47 Am I the one paying the rent around here and I'm not worthy?
04:49 It's like a cat, almost.
04:51 Oh yeah, it's a cat.
04:52 Totally, it's like cat fuzz.
04:53 Oh yeah, Mooncalf is, they're lovely and they...
04:57 They're just happy to see you.
04:58 You got some floaty pellets.
04:59 So joyful and chill.
05:02 I feel like they're like a good starter pet.
05:05 I'm an owl person.
05:06 I do just like a classic, you know, magical owl.
05:09 I've always wanted like a snowy white owl or maybe just like...
05:12 I mean, they just, they deliver the post.
05:14 They all have different personalities.
05:15 There's just lots to like.
05:17 I love that the wyvern in this, you know,
05:20 which is the creature that comes out at the beginning
05:22 and that picks Newt up from the case
05:26 and kind of blows herself up into this gigantic sort of balloon.
05:30 I kind of love that creature too.
05:32 And again, the fact that the creatures are working,
05:35 working not only with Newt, but actually for,
05:38 like actually save Newt in this is kind of,
05:41 I found that very emotional at the beginning of the movie.
05:43 You never met a monster you couldn't love.
05:45 I keep coming back to the Niffler. I just like it.
05:48 Yeah. It's just cute. It is cute.
05:50 If you find a way to train it, you know, that it will hand over.
05:55 Give you the, what do we make today?
05:57 Someone responsible, someone patient.
06:06 Yeah.
06:07 I often, I mean, I do find many similarities
06:10 between these creatures and I have two young children.
06:12 My little boy is just at the moment, just like desperately trying to like
06:15 sort of hit things and sort of, and you have to be very sort of patient
06:18 whilst also encouraging him to let out his,
06:21 but they're different creatures have different, you know,
06:24 different wants and needs and you have to slightly shape shift
06:26 your parenting depending on which creature you're looking after.
06:30 Niffler is easy, right? That's low hanging fruit, right?
06:33 That'd be any politician in the world.
06:35 Oh, nice. Roasted.
06:37 Love that.
06:38 I think an owl, definitely, um, not too small of a child.
06:44 I feel like there's like a, that seems like they would be irresponsible with it.
06:49 But they also come across as quite independent.
06:51 So even if a child can't take care of them,
06:53 they might teach the child certain things.
06:55 That's right. That's true. Yeah.
06:57 But that's like, I feel like that's like just being a good dad.
07:00 Like you seem like you've got good dad energy.
07:02 I think you should really like be qualified to adopt.
07:06 A fantastic beast. Yeah.
07:09 It takes a lot of, a lot of, um, care and you have to have the right sort of
07:16 skills and qualifications to look after them.
07:19 Responsibility. Yeah. Very dangerous.
07:22 We got to do the fourth movie has got to be fantastic beast and how to care for them.
07:26 A care guide. Yes. Oh, I like that.
07:35 Robbie. Robbie the Mooncalf.
07:37 Robbie would be better for a bowtruckle though.
07:39 Cause he can be Robert Plant, you know?
07:41 Whoa.
07:42 Picture a bowtruckle who's got a little flower.
07:45 Oh, sweet. So I'd call it bud.
07:48 Bud. I love what you did there.
07:50 Or could I even have a bud coming out of.
07:52 Have a little flower growing out of his head or something.
07:54 Yeah. Do they flower or do they just leaf?
07:56 I don't know.
07:58 Really, there's just nothing else.
08:00 Manny the Mooncalf. Manny the Mooncalf.
08:02 Murray. Murray.
08:03 Murray the Mooncalf.
08:05 I will name it Messi.
08:07 Like any football player.
08:09 Messi. Lionel Messi.
08:11 My dog is called Messi and everything has to be called Messi.
08:14 Cool. I love it.
08:15 The entire time he keeps playing.
08:16 Yeah. Cool.
08:17 I would probably do just like Aaliyah, like the pop singer,
08:21 because I was obsessed with her as a kid.
08:23 And that's just, it's like, come here, Aaliyah.
08:25 Like that, like just put my finger up.
08:28 Like there's just something so nice about it.
08:30 It's timeless. It's got a great sound to it.
08:32 Yeah. Aaliyah.
08:33 Like that just seems really nice to me.
08:35 It's working on me right now.
08:36 I don't know what I would call my...
08:41 Oh, I'll tell you what I did actually.
08:43 In the first movie, there was a moment when I had to improvise
08:46 summoning loads of bowtruckles on the tree.
08:49 Titus, Finn, Poppy, Marlow, Tom.
08:52 David, the director, was like, can you just list a name?
08:55 But I had to keep repeating those.
08:57 So I listed, I had at the time had four godchildren.
09:01 And so I listed all my...
09:02 Which I thought we had to get their names in.
09:04 Yeah.
09:05 That's great.
09:06 So that was good.
09:07 I'd probably keep doing that.
09:09 Because you get bonus godparent points.
09:11 Correct. Three points to Hufflepuff.
09:14 [music playing]
09:17 (Music)
09:19 (chime)
