00:27 29-year-old Priyanka Rawat was a social media marketing executive in a company in Vashi.

00:32 She was originally from Pauri, Garhwal and she started her career from a company in Noida.

00:39 In 2019, she got married to Devvrat Singh Rawat from Uttarakhand and after marriage she came to Panvel with her husband.

00:47 After coming to Panvel, she decided to work again and joined a company in Mumbai.

00:54 She worked there for 2 years and then in 2021 she joined her third company in Vashi, where she was still working.

01:06 Priyanka's husband Devvrat Singh Rawat used to work as a team lead in an e-commerce company.

01:12 These two people lived in the Mahalaxmi City Society of Panvel Taluka.

01:25 It was around 10 pm on 15th September, when Priyanka was getting off the local train and was moving towards Panvel via the auto rickshaw stand.

02:13 Usually, Priyanka used to reach home between 10.30 and 11.00 pm.

02:18 But when she did not reach home till 11.00 pm, her husband Devvrat called her number which was picked up by the police.

02:25 The police informed Devvrat that he should reach the hospital immediately as his wife was attacked.

02:31 As soon as he came to know this, Devvrat, who was scared, reached the hospital where he came to know that Priyanka was dead.

02:39 The police believed that this was a planned murder and the attackers had already planned to attack Priyanka.

02:48 Senior Police Inspector Subhash Kokte said that the attackers threw the knife in the attack and ran away.
