Dad of Celtic-mad Buckie Thistle player talks son's big moment
We spoke to Buckie Thistle fans about their looming Scottish Cup tie against Celtic, including the dad of Celtic-mad Buckie Thistle player Jack MacIver.

00:23 Cup game in the fourth round. So I used to say to him that I've always run out of Celtic
00:29 Park, I've been at Celtic Park and that was one of my claims to fame, but this boy's a
00:33 bit of go and play. So he's trumped me over it. So yeah, it's really good.
00:39 It's a tough one isn't it? You just want the guys to show their class and their ability
00:44 against a really really good team. But I mean if you come back and you lose 4-0, 5-0, you
00:48 would expect that. But you just want the guys all to have a moment where they think, you
00:53 know, they can look back in 20 years and say, "God remember I was at Parkhead and I took
00:56 the ball off Callum McGregor and I did something with it." That's the kind of thing, that's
01:00 the memories that will come out of this.
01:02 Absolutely, I think the gap is too big to where Celtic are. If we were playing the Tome
01:06 to maybe a lower championship side on a wet and windy day at Vicky Park I think we'd have
01:12 a chance, but not at Parkhead. But we'll enjoy the day.
01:16 We're both Celtic supporters, you couldn't have asked for a better time for us like,
01:20 you know what I mean?
01:21 It's a dream time for both of us.
01:22 People have questioned us saying, "Fiddy, why have you got a sport?" I say, "There's
01:26 only one team we've got a sport, it's Bucky."
01:28 We're Bucky supporters, we're Celtic fans. End of story.

01:34 Look, at the end of the day, we're there for the day out. It's got to be good financially
01:40 for the club, it's got to be in a good stead for the next few years. That's all we want
01:44 as a club. If you go into the fourth round of a tie, you're wanting to draw a big team
01:48 and that's what you want.
