Ep 7: A MIxed Up Marriage. In this final episode, the Catholic Church and a Jewish Rabbi are in turmoil when Catholic Christine Hammond and Jewish Isaac Rosen wish to marry each other. With both faiths refusing to give way, the couple make a decision that turns the incident into a full blown crisis!
Starring Arthur Lowe, Daniel Abineri, Gabrielle Daye, Sheila Keith, Cyril Shaps, Benny Lee, Julia Chambers (from The Mallens), Gary Brown and Geoffrey Drew. The last episode was broadcast on August 16th 1981, and was typical at times of the courage it had with it's subject matter, both on representing it's faith and also challenging it's laws as well. For Arthur Lowe, this was one of his favourite roles, but sadly just a year later he would pass away after a massive stroke. Not as well remembered as his role in Dad's Army, but it has it's moments as a amusing sitcom and one that is rarely seen on TV.
