00:03 The Oscar winner's comments came while speaking with Sky News about his latest directorial
00:09 project, the film The Boys in the Boat. Comparing directing to acting, he said,
00:13 "It's more fun. You have a lot more control. I get to boss them around,
00:16 and I don't have to learn how to row."
00:18 He added, "It's fun to come in in the morning, and it's fun to write a screenplay,
00:21 and then have somebody build a set that you wrote. It really is."
00:24 While Clooney has starred in dozens of projects, including Ticket to Paradise,
00:28 Up in the Air, Michael Clayton, Ocean's Eleven, and ER, he has also directed a handful of films
00:34 throughout his career, such as The Tender Bar, The Midnight Sky, Suburbicon, and The Ides of March.
00:40 He told the outlet, "As you get older, you need to have other things to do. You can't just do one
00:44 thing. I'm lucky because I'm 62 and I get to do the stuff I love, and a lot of people don't get
00:49 that." But that doesn't mean the actor won't have his share of screen time. He is set to next star
00:53 alongside Brad Pitt in Wolves. For more on this story, head to THR.com. And for the latest
