00:24 for the arrest of public utility vehicles on the first day of the implementation of the PUV Modernization.

00:31 We are ready for that. Enforcement is our last option.

00:42 We will help them comply if that's the problem.

00:46 According to the LTO, they will expand the impounding areas,

00:50 like Region 3 and 4A, Metro Manila and Carmona in Cavite.

00:56 If the violators go there, they will be fined P10,000 for impounding

01:01 and P5,000 for drivers who violate the Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

01:07 It's impounded and they will get a penalty for impounding.

01:14 If it's unregistered, they will be cancelled from the registration.

01:19 Not to mention, the driver's license will be penalized.

01:26 Meanwhile, in Metro Manila, 97.18 percent of the vehicles are consolidated

01:31 according to the LTFRB National Capital Region.

01:35 Of the 42,000 jeeps in NCR, more than 20,000 are registered in the LTO.

01:43 More than 21,000 are consolidated, meaning that the number of passengers in the vehicle

01:50 will be sufficient for the next month.

01:53 The routes with zero consolidation or those that did not join the program can be filled.

01:59 We can say based on our data in NCR,

02:04 that almost 97 percent of the vehicles that registered as jeeps in 2023 have already consolidated.

02:14 Quezon City LGU is ready to provide free rides if the number of vehicles is insufficient.
