02:50 But now that Jessica has grown into an adult and no longer needs Chauncey,
02:55 the cuddly teddy bear has grown angry, putting Jessica's young daughter in its crosshairs.

03:17 From Rocketman to Elvis, Hollywood has been on a roll as it relates to musical biopics.
03:22 Next to get the big-screen biopic treatment is the late singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse.
03:34 From her beginnings as a North London jazz musician to her rise to fame in the mid-2000s,
03:40 the film will explore the tumultuous life and career of the talented artist.
03:44 "I don't write songs to be famous. I write songs because I don't know what I'd do if I didn't."
03:53 Industry star Marisa Abella plays the Grammy-winning singer in the film,
03:57 with Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson serving as director.
04:01 Importantly, the movie received the blessing of Winehouse's estate
04:05 and will feature Amy's hit songs on the soundtrack, including "Rehab" and "Back to Black."

04:33 That's because Gosling plays Colt, a stump man who is thrust into a world of real danger.

05:24 Number 5 - Horizon, An American Saga, Chapters 1 and 2.

05:33 The summer of 2024 could very well belong to Kevin Costner.
05:38 That's because the actor-director will unleash parts 1 and 2 of his sprawling story centered
05:42 on post-Civil War expansion in the United States.
05:45 The Western epic is Costner's passion project,
05:48 one that he has devoted 30 years of his life to making.
05:51 "I am the opposite of progress. I'm the wall that it bashes against,
05:56 and I will not be the one who breaks."
05:58 The celebrated actor wrote, directed and stars in the films,
06:02 which take place over the course of 15 years.
06:05 No wonder it was broken up into two parts.
06:07 The movies will be released just two months apart and will feature the likes of Sienna Miller,
06:12 Sam Worthington, Jenna Malone and Luke Wilson.

06:16 Number 4 - The Bike Riders.
06:18 Release Date - June 21st, 2024.
06:21 Featuring Austin Butler, Tom Hardy and Norman Reedus,
06:25 The Bike Riders follows a Midwestern motorcycle club called The Vandals.

06:33 Set in the 1960s, the film will show the club's evolution over the course of a decade,
06:41 ultimately becoming a dangerous gang.
06:43 "The club got real big, real fast."
06:45 Interestingly, the anticipated film was supposed to land in cinemas in 2023,
06:50 with hopes of garnering Oscar contention.
06:52 Its distributor Disney opted to take the film off its release calendar
06:56 due to promotional problems stemming from the actor strike.
06:59 Luckily, Focus Features came to the rescue and promptly set it for a summer 2024 release.

07:16 Filmmaker Alex Garland has yet to disappoint.

07:23 this time in the form of A24's dystopian actioner Civil War.
07:27 "I guess we're at this like pretty huge civil war going on all across America."
07:32 "We just try to stay out with what we see on the news. Seems like it's for the best."
07:36 The film offers a frightening vision of what America's future could look like
07:40 should another civil war break out.
07:42 The movie's logline describes it as,
07:44 quote, "a race to the White House in a near-future America balanced on the razor's edge."

07:53 The trailer explains that 19 states have seceded,
07:56 with mentions of the Western forces of California and Texas,

08:24 Admittedly, not much.
08:26 But what has us extremely excited about the film is the man behind it,
08:37 Bong Joon-ho.
08:38 This will mark Bong's first feature since his Academy Award-winning film Parasite.
08:43 That film also became the highest-grossing Korean film ever.
08:47 As for Mickey 17, it will star the Batman himself, Robert Pattinson.
08:51 "He's with me, officer."
08:53 "Are you kidding me, sir? You're gonna let him in here?"
08:59 Pattinson's role is described as a, quote,
09:02 "disposable employee on an expedition sent to colonize an ice planet
09:06 who refuses to let his replacement clone take his place."
09:09 Warner Bros. previously had the film scheduled for March of 2024,
09:13 but has since updated the release calendar,
09:16 moving Mickey 17 into the "to be determined" category.
