After a peak gust of 160km per hour overnight, the Met Office said on its social media that Storm Isha is now moving away.

00:00 Rain and high wind warnings have been issued across the UK as Storm Aisha continues to hit the country, bringing rain and gusts of up to 160 km/h.
00:12 Overnight the storm left more than 55,000 homes in the UK without power and triggered more than 80 flood warnings.
00:21 Many transport services have been cancelled or delayed.
00:25 However, the National Weather Service has said that Storm Aisha is now "moving away".
00:31 In Ireland a clean-up operation is underway after the weather caused considerable damage.
00:37 One person has died according to local media, which also said that more than 100 buildings had fallen over and that 230,000 homes were without electricity.
