00:00 I'm a bra fitting expert and here's my five top tips to finding the perfect fit.
00:04 First off we're going to start with the cups of the bra. You always want to
00:09 ensure that your breast tissue is encapsulated in the cup from the top and
00:14 the side. We don't want any double boob or quad boob because this means that the
00:21 cup is too small. When we go to the under wires of the bra we want to ensure that
00:26 the center wire is sitting between the bust as flush as we can towards the
00:30 breastbone. When we follow the under wire we want it to reach right around all of
00:35 the breast tissue. Now this means going quite far back into the armpit area. A
00:41 great judge of this is to pop your arm up and to bring your finger around and
00:46 if it is in line with the back of your armpit it's a good indication that the
00:51 breast is encapsulated in the bra. When we look at the back band we want it to
00:56 sit at a right angle. Your back band shouldn't be riding up it should be
01:00 sitting straight and always worn on the loosest hook for a new bra. As your bra
01:06 ages and you wash and wear you can tighten up the hook and eyes to
01:10 continually receive 80% support from your bra cups. Your straps should always
01:16 have a two finger tension. This means that your straps can't be pulled up to
01:22 your ears or above. This two finger tension will ensure that your back band
01:27 is giving you 80% support taking the weight quite literally off your
01:32 shoulders. Another top tip is when you're wearing non padded bras like I am today
01:37 to opt for a side support bra because this brings in all of the breast tissue
01:42 from the side to the center of your body giving a lovely streamlined look.
